Solfeggio Frequencies & Hildegard of Bingen?

MedievaltoModern presents an astonishing theory in this episode. We believe Hildegard of Bingen, a brilliant medieval polymath, used ancient knowledge of Solfeggio frequencies, otherwise known as The Holy Tones, to benefit her listeners in ways many people today still do not understand. This includes healing both the conscious and subconscious mind through the sacred and scientific power of her music. Please note we are not academics or professional researchers. MedievaltoModern only wishes to explore a unique possibility that Saint Hildegard used sacred knowledge through music to heal us spiritually, mentally and even physically. Now, welcome to Hildegard of Bingen and The Holy Tones!
Note: The word Solfege (French) and Solfeggio (Italian) are the same, and used interchangeably in this episode.

I've had a good education in music, and I've been singing choral music for many years, but you lost me when you got to the math! It's so fascinating, though, that I'll go back and watch this again and again until I get it right. Another subject I'd like to see is life in medieval Scotland, if only to tease my Glaswegian husband about it.

@deborahberger5816, Yes, it is a very intriguing subject, and the brief math portion of the episode does require more that one look. We appreciate the suggestion for a new episode! Cheers.
