Diamondback DB9: Hand cannon?! Reliable at the range or just a pain?

The one where you can smell what's in your sights- Up close and personal defender may be the only purpose of the DB9.
Price point is always considered in everything we do and we look forward to finding budget friendly products that exceed our expectations!
The DB9 has slightly done this by having one of the best features (interchangeable Glock sights) in the budget market place!
Make sure you smash that like and subscribe button on your way out and thanks for watching!!

These days it seems like everyone is surprised when a $250.00 gun works well. Handguns do not cost a lot to produce. It's all in the design and materials. My $15.00 Casio watch does five times as much as a $15,000 Rolex and I'm not surprised that it does.

Yeah I agree somewhat but I think there’s a lot more to watches than firearms. Companies aren’t putting diamonds and other precious stones in/on these guns so it doesn’t justify the Rolex price. Neither here nor there if it’s worth it, but there’s a reason it cost more than a Casio. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m a Casio guy all day long, I see your argument totally but you’re right guns take Pennie’s on the dollar charged to make!

Most people shoot this gun badly because they are recoil sensitive. I also shoot full load cowboy matches. Get your hands right on it, pull the trigger with the crook of the second knuckle with the rest of the finger pointed straight through the trigger guard. That will eliminate the bunching that you're doing, resulting in a better trigger feel. I also run triji HD XR sights. I have no problem on 12" circles at 15yds. You are going to get out of it exactly what you put in.

Bought 1 & sold it quickly. Wouldn't function with a full mag and 1 in the chamber. If I would top off the mag after charging 1 into the chamber the gun was not reliable for the 2nd round. Very difficult to insert a full mag with 1 in the chamber. Tried to shoot it well from a bench to see what accuracy was possible but it wasn't very accurate and not due to the recoil. I shoot heavy Buffalo Bore ammo out of my 4'' S&W mod 626 44 Magnum so I can handle recoil. I shot my carry load for my Sig P365 whitch is the Federal 124gr HST +P. The recoil was weird in that I've felt much heavier recoil in that the amount my hands would rise after the shot. However, the DB9 put recoil into areas of my hand that hurt and that has never happened to me with any other handgun. Even the Desert Eagle 50 A&E I used to have was pleasant to shoot compared to the DB9. My 2'' S&W model 60 357 magnum is easy to shoot with heavy magnum ammo but not the DB9 as it hits certain parts of my hand during recoil that are just painful. I wanted to replace my Ruger LCPII 380 with the DB9 as they are very close in size but the DB9 just wasn’t going to work for me

I hear that 147 grain Subsonic loads are more comfortable to shoot for practice. I call mine 'The Little Beast." I find it hurts my second finger more than my trigger finger. The edge of the trigger guard cuts that finger. I may stick a bit of moleskin on that spot next time I take it to the range. It is a real challenge to shoot, and demands some more practice.

I bought a 1st Gen about 2 weeks after it was bought brand new by someone who didn't have a clue and couldn't get it to run through 1 mag without a malfunction. I was watching this scenario unfold and just couldn't resist when it was offered to me for $100. After cleaning off the mfg lube and adding a few drops of oil. The right ammunition and a good stiff wrist. This gun has run through several hundred rounds with only a few malfunctions. From ammunition only. This is definitely not a firearm an individual who is new to handguns. Let alone heavy recoiling ones. Especially with it's stature. I carry mine like my wallet.

Cz and Canik don't have a gun this size and caliber to compare. Any 9mm this size is going to be snappy. Any gun this size is going to fit in the hand a bit awkward for people with bigger hands. I didn't really hear anything negative about it in the review that was technical. All preference and irrelevant comparisons. How many lbs is the trigger pull? The son proved it can ring steel at distance, him needing to move forward to 7yds was his personal issue. They seemed to start with a slanted opinion to begin with here. How anyone is commenting this was fair is beyond me. This should be compared to the Khar pocket 9mm or the sccy pocket 9, maybe even the m&p 9mm pocket gun.
