Agreed. Love the guy. Very informative but also nice sense of humor and easy Southern charm. Some of the other gun review guys try to appeal to the testosterone crowd, which is fine I guess. But Hickok appeals to everyone.

Some because they are fun to work with (training with them, fixing them, creating new ones) some value how they can protect the ones you hold dear, some because they appreciate the art (not the act of combat, but the art behind it). We all live in a messed up world, my friend. I hope and pray that God comes back soon to put an end to all the pain that comes from bad and good people using weapons. But until then, I'll use my training and weapons to defend my family and friends.

My dad brought a .25 back from Belgium WWII. We kids loved it so I got one when I was grown. I used it for concealed carry 'til my brother told me, "You shoot someone with that thing --- And he finds out about it, he's gonna be awful angry!"

The problem with .25 auto pistol is that if you are stupid enough to carry it, and you feel threatened, you may very well pull it out and point it at someone. If you are very stupid you may even fire it. If by chance any of the rounds hit the person you feel threatened by, that person will probably be very angry.

It really is, @hunwarrior. It's refreshing in these days, where older folks are constantly being reminded that the values they were taught... the values that were the backbone of American prosperity and freedom... are antiquated and useless. Such a tragedy! Silver-haired heroes like Hickok spend their last years reminded that they are the enemies of "progress," and the values they have passed on to their progeny will make them targets of hatred. So they either tragically succumb to the evil craziness, or suffer being despised their entire lives. So every crumb of respect an elder gets is precious.
