What happens to the non boost diamond travel adjustment video . Btw the PDF on your site doesn’t work either

If only getting that 27mm nut off was as easy as shown in the video. "Shouldn't take much to break that thing loose". Unfortunately on mine it seemed like either a small amount of locktite was used or the threads were just extremely tight. I got it off after 30 mins of careful work and creating my own tool to hold the free spinning green cap at the end of the assembly. Is there a better way or did something go wrong during assembly on mine? That said, loving the fork. Very impressed!

i read somewhere that if you have let the air out already the assembly free spins at this point have not had a problem with mine but I have took the air out only after

On my cartridge, turned out the black ring had threadlocker and could barely budge. Heat gun or hairdryer will probably help a lot, then clean it well because as Ronnie points out, it doesn't need to be on very tight and that'll make it a lot easier next time.

What needs to be replaced when you take the cartridge out.

Almost the same features when you open the Auron fork.

I have a 29er dvo diamond 160mm that I want to turn into a 170mm travel. Do you remove the spacer if you want to add a travel or add a spacer?

What travel does the 29boost diamond fork come stock in?

Travel reduction is putting a limiter in so, for example, a 170mm fork goes down to 160. Volume spacers OTOH take up room in an air chamber and make it more progressive to reduce hard bottoming (and potentially be a little softer off the top). This fork doesn't use volume spacers, but you can put up to 5mL oil above the piston if you want (though it might eventually migrate).

If I have a 160mm travel diamond qnd want it to increase to 170mm, do i just need to remove the spacer?

Yes, although I’d advise against it, Diamonds have very low levels of bushing overlap when set at 170mm

Looks like you never got a reply. They are not the same. Volume reducer changes how progressive the fork is. This video shows you how to shorten the fork.

does this cartridge fit the NON BOOST diamond?

Not so much. Attempting to remove the black lock ring just spins the green threaded part.

Correct. Green threaded part is pretty free to spin. Adding some air to the fork may help hold the green part in place, or you might need to use a pin spanner on those slots. (let off the pressure before popping the lock ring out). Sometimes there's threadlocker-- try a bit of heat; see if that softens it up.
