Defence spending: Is 2.5% of GDP going to be enough?

Defence Secretary Grant Shapps discusses the prime minister's vow to boost defence spending to 2.5% GDP by 2030 and the Rwanda migration policy.
Former British army officer Colonel Simon Diggins told Sky News that spending should be closer to 3%. Mr Shapps says "the global defence industrial base hasn't expanded quickly enough to deal with the enormous requirements in Ukraine".

But they need to let them land to keep the MP’s with something to do and aircraft industry busy taking them to Rwanda and then the return flights. Are they still paying the aFrench to keep them in France. Just the same as the warmongers need to get making more weapons of mass destruction to increase the national dept. for the investors. The English are a rich and diverse culture who have money to squander and ‘ intellectual’ ( lol) Leaders/ royalty who tend to the poor.

So in other words Russia has demilitarised Ukraine and is well on the way to doing the same to Nato without huge amounts (100's billions) of additional deficit spending borrowing of Euro Atlantic member states govts (regimes) involved in the Ukraine War.

Yeah - doing what Europe wanted to do with NATO after the end of the Cold War but warmongering US/UK kept it going as part of the US military for obvious reasons. Are now squandering millions of taxpayers £ on weapons of mass destruction instead of improved infrastructure/ health care/ education etc.
