Ex-armed forces minister warns defence spending will need to rise

Former armed forces minister James Heappey has said spending on defence is likely to increase even more in coming years as the UK looks to counter threats from Russia and China.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced today that an extra £75bn would be spent replenishing ammunition supplies and readying the country for any potential conflict.
But Mr Heappey warned even more would need to be spent - and that would mean cutbacks in other areas.

I'm not really gonna get involved. but 75 billion is 75 sets of 1000 million. So it is 75,000 million. it is effectively 150,000 houses at 500k each.

As with PPE we are not prepared if war broke out, all services have been hit, lack of pilot's/soldiers and sailors and ships that break down when they leave Port, and all were going to hear is the word 'leading' being used which the tories use for everything.
