How the US and UK’s aid package to Ukraine will destroy Putin | EXPLAINED

“Ukraine will be able to hold their own plain for the future and make it impossible for the Russians to squeeze Ukraine into a political crisis.”
The US and UK’s aid package to Ukraine will cause a “disaster” for Putin as it will provide long-range missiles and ammunition to strike the Russians, explains Michael Clarke.

@@iansaliba-curtis1041No. The US has not gone mad. The US has a high national debt, it has minimal local manufacturing, it has maximum dependency on foreign attained manufacturing + resources, but beyond this - it has high internal divide driven by ideological stand points; one is nationalistic - the other is globalist, and that is what is playing out in the US political sphere right now. If you look around, you will see that same thing playing out in many nations - and it's creating massive divides, and what is driving it is how open primarily left wing parties have been to immigrants, to a point that it is breaking nations: and the citizens of those nations are tired of it, growing more fed up with it, and you are seeing a rise of racist views, as well as nationalistic outlooks. And as problems grow - you are going to see more Nationalistic governments take over. Oh, and Nationalism is not the only thing that is going to play into this. The entire left wing driven woke movement has created it's own boundless amounts of internal hostility - just most of it has been contained, and restricted in where it was spoken out with, but - slowly but surely, everyone has gotten so desensitized to the attacks, that it is starting to emerge very blatantly. The short of this: There is a LOT going on, that is all playing into this - and if your answer is to jump to blaming the US, you should be looking at your own nation.

The problem with giving Ron Johnson air time is that he doesn’t know what he is talking about: US taxpayer spent this money decades ago when the weapons that are being sent to Ukraine were built. The US taxpayer will continue to pay for secure storage of these weapons and munitions until they are either given/sold to a cause like Ukraine or they are dumped. It’s not that current US taxpayers can’t afford to give them; its that it makes no economic sense to keep then when allies (people whose interests are aligned with the US’s) could use them to advance shared interests. So many Americans don’t understand that the US can’t exist without a global mindset. Even when someone in a country on the other side of the world hacks their identity or bank account, with the connivance of that country’s government. How did so many people become so ignorant so quickly? People like Ron Johnson were given air time.

In which decade were the American people wanting to spend money on Ukrainian weapons? We didn't start arming them until around 2010? You would know more than me, Military Industrialist Schill... The American people do not support giving so much of our money on the world's wars. Its insane to me. Look at historic military spending, it was over 5% for decades! It has never fallen below 3%. Wealthy European countries barely spent 1%, and yet American taxpayers paid for their defense? The defense of the FIRST World, not the third world. Europe owes us reparations if you ask me. They have better healthcare than us. I believe they have better infrastructure, more high speed rail? I wouldn't know, I'm too poor to visit. I believe Europeans are more able to travel the world than Americans. All thanks to the peace they have enjoyed off the backs of harder working American taxpayers. Air power has been nullified in this war due to effective air defence. Economics is the game changer. It costs a lot less to shoot down a state of the art war plane than to replace one. It also costs a lot more to shoot down a cheap drone than to replace that drone. We are finding out that Iran backed a winning horse in the 80's by investing in cheap drone technology. The future of this war maybe cheap decoys to drain the other side economically. I wonder if thats why the US have just bought 81 cheap Russian 70's war planes??

This is that without sufficient munitions and machines both offensive and defensive Ukraine has had to dig deeper within their rather substantial capabilities to fight and survive (I doubt even Americans could match one for one the fierce Ukrainians in a contest!). Now with a considerable supply of munitions Ukraine will use them with greater efficiency and deadlier effect. Add to this, that Ukrainian's European neighbors have been stepping up to their responsibilities to link arms together with Ukraine, to fight this scourge within their own region!

"Europe realises it's its problem". It was stunning to read pro-Putin posts and anti-american rants at the start of the war, from France. Today we can also read pro-china post. NATO, EU and US may not be perfect (far from it) but Putin and the China may not be Europe's best friends like some think.

Well how would we know who's the better friend really? I dunno but the past decade have really not been exceptional as far as NATO, EU, US or even the "liberal world order" goes. I'm no real fan of Russia, China or Iran etc. however it's way more then just a good or evil scenario at play here but if that were the case, we are very often the bad guys... and to be entirely frank, if we had the same kind of advantage over these "evil nations" as we do in Africa etc. we would just simply exploit them to no end... so if i was living in any of their countries i would probably also desire a though and more independent government ready to stand up against "the west" and it's imperialistic endeavors.

If you think France having anti-American Attitudes is strange: Lets just say, France had made arrangements to buy O&G from Iraq in Euro's rather than in USD. The US failing to negotiate that away, found an excuse to go to war - and terminated that arrangement by gun point, and France holds a grudge. The amount of money France has sunk into it's intelligence apparatus to shut out the US is absolutely ludicrous. The truth is, France and Germany both have reason to be unhappy with the US. If they can figure out how to develop without ties to the USD, they will - and part of that, is understanding the importance of China right now, as well as automation, and advanced technology, but to get there - France and Germany need to strengthen their own local economies, AI development, and Militaries. As much as you might not realize it, but the war in Ukraine has been a huge justification for European countries, long having let their military languish, receive renewed focus to develop it, grow it, and that is mildly terrifying. With China flooding the market with cheap items - maybe, the view will shift on China, but pretty much the entire west has a debt problem - and it's crippling the cost of living, it's crippling job income value, it's crippling the birth rate.

I imagine a number of the F-16s will be held as spares and instructional birds. Not sure how many aircraft they plan to field in their Squadrons but that is also being worked out along with basing. Not sure how many F-16 pilots are training in Europe or Arizona.

@@calvinlee1813 my guess would be in the high multiple's of hundreds for pilots alone. They will want to swap pilots in and out. Some on call while others in rest etc. What I am more intrigued by, is what pods are they supplying with the planes. Especially the surveillance pod, which version. As some can tie together with planes, himars, patriots batteries etc. Giving you a massive increase in lethality to incoming missiles, and ground attacks.
