The difference is that Putin can afford those losses and Ukraine absolutely can't. Ukrainians as a society have lost their will to fight, partly because the US is not a reliable ally anymore. But the proof for the collapse of morale is that Ukraine has to draft soldiers, and the overwhelming majority of the draftees is refusing to risk their lives. I would have hoped Ukraine can win this, but they lost the will to fight. I can't blame them for that, but it's the unfortunate reality....

Those supplies MAY be enough to stop the Russian advance, but Ukraine is not in a position to advance or even regain that territory at all. The major fight they have right now is trying to find enough soldiers. Because Ukrainians have lost their will to fight, which can be seen in the massive draft dodging. The daddy-age soldiers at the front lines are getting burnt out after three years of fighting...

While I sincerely wish that Times Radio prognostications would come to pass, I think your reaching here. When the war started everybody thought Ukraine would lose in a couple of weeks. When Ukraine started taking back land everybody thought that they would be successful within a year. Neither came to pass. Nobody has any idea how this is going to go in even the near future. The latest weapons shipments will certainly help Ukraine to stabilize the front. If long range weaponry can take out the Kerch bridge and disable Russian rail links in the south then that *MIGHT* put the south of Ukraine into play, but that is a long game. Donbas is by far the most difficult area. It is directly connected to Russia with dozens of supply paths. To retake Donbas Ukraine is going to have to actually crush or exhaust the Russian army. A single resupply will not accomplish that.

Putin might lose the Donbas and Crimea - I sincerely hope he does - but by creating inflated expectations videos like this only prepare the groundwork for disappointment when those hopes are not realised. Keep hopes realistic, and don't make pressure to push Ukraine into operations that it is not yet ready to carry out. That's what went wrong last year. Give them a chance to mass their new equipment at a place of their choosing, and they will succeed.

The new equipment is too little too late. It doesn't make up for the Ukrainian soldiers getting burnt out and that the replacements aren't coming. Almost all Ukrainians, especially those drafted, refuse to fight for their country. I fail to see how Ukraine has any chance when their people don't want to fight.

But in reality, Ukrainians don't want to fight anymore and the US has lost the resolve to even supply enough for stopping the Russians, while there was never any resolve about helping Ukraine to win. Meanwhile almost all drafted Ukrainians refuse to fight and die for their country. Russia's allies are reliably delivering ammunition, and the glidebombs are devasting the valiant but exhausted daddy-age soldiers at the front lines. Ukraine, as a society, has lost the will to fight. The government and the military are still putting a good face on the bad game, because the result of their defeat will be a catastrophe for everyone in Ukraine, but without morale and fighting spirit in their society, they have already lost.

Even if Congress overwhelmingly supports Ukraine, the president has more than enough constitutional power over the military and foreign policy to withhold assistance long enough to allow Russia to win. As we see in the Israel/Gaza conflict, the president can stop any assistance he chooses. That includes humanitarian and military aid, as well as information gained by our intelligence agencies. Come on Times Radio, each and every time you come up with over optimistic experts and ex-soldiers although there is little reason for optimism. Since Russia has its act together (at the end of 2022), it is slowly winning, Ukraine can't break the Russian lines whereas Russia can break the Ukrainian lines. You don't win a war by constantly losing terrain. Furthermore right now Russia on its own is out producing the entire West in terms of weapons. I'm sorry but I see little reason for optimism.

Ukrainian men are refusing to risk their lives for their country, and those who do will lose their resolve once they realize there is no reinforcement coming because of cowardice.

The west is trying to run Russian military supplies to as low as possible. Putin is trying to take as much land as possible before it runs out of military hardware. Meanwhile Ukraine is suffering 😢

Ukraine is not taking the war seriously at all, but most don't realize it. They haven't gone to a total war footing economically. Did you know that? Russia has gone into a total war position economically but Ukraine hasn't, and Ukraine only lowered its conscription age to 25(!) just a few days ago. Ukraine is not making their own long range missiles to strike targets in Russia. They're barely fighting this war, yet they are trying to shame the whole world into more and more handouts, as their young men avoid the draft.

Putin only needs to hold on for a few months until the Ukrainians realize that not enough of their men are willing to risk their lives on the front lines. The overwhelming majority of drafted men refuses to fight... I would have hoped Ukraine can win this, but the "simple" issue of morale is the death blow to the Ukrainian cause.

Too optimistic. Russia has a massive superiority in troop numbers, has learned from its mistakes and has tripled its defence spending. They have momentum. Western support is too patchy and too late. This guy needs to be arguing urgently for a more strategic approach, not saying 'everything's going to be fine'.

The Rusisan bombers are flying so close to it, you would be able to hit them with stones. And Ukriane isnt shooting them down.
