How strikes on Russian logistics weakened Putin's defences in Ukraine | Philip Ingram
"When the Ukrainians are ready to punch through, hopefully those defences are going to be an awful lot weaker...they can continue this hollowing out, until late spring, early summer 2025."
Despite grinding Russian gains Ukrainian strikes on Russian logistics and behind the lines target could leave Russian defences significantly weakened, former intelligence officer Philip Ingram tells Frontline on #timesradio

Appreciate Times Radio interviewing experts in various aspects of war, even if they aren't totally up to date with the state of play on the ground, both the battlefield and the politics.
“We prepared a huge document in Istanbul, Turkey, that was initialed by the head of the Ukrainian delegation. He affixed his signature to some of the provisions, not to all of it. He put his signature and then he himself said: “We were ready to sign it and the war would have been over long ago, eighteen months ago. However, Prime Minister Boris Johnson came, talked us out of it and we missed that chance.” Well, you missed it, you made a mistake, let them get back to that, that is all. Why do we have to bother ourselves and correct somebody else’s mistakes?.” - Vladimir Putin
“I said let them think how to do it with dignity. There are options if there is a will. Up until now, there has been the uproar and screaming about inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia on the battlefield. Now, they are apparently coming to realize that it is difficult to achieve it, if possible at all. In my opinion, it is impossible by definition, it is never going to happen. It seems to me that now those who are in power in the West have come to realize this as well. If so, if the realization has set in, they have to think what to do next. We are ready for this dialogue.” - Vladimir Putin

Nahh g was wrong when he tried to say russia will be behind Palestinian protests. Russia has NOTHING to do with the faults of Israel.

How can Pukein claim he's fighting against NATO. Russia would be beaten already if that were true.

@@john_in_phoenix The west would never get dragged into trench warfare. A conventional war with Russia would look like Desert Storm + Geography. I do however agree that the West needs to start making more ammunition.

The linguistic issue is whether "Wagner" is a collective noun, like "the people." Only the Wagner members could definitively answer that. English is really messed up that way.
..its funny the way nato could just fold up Russia if it used a quarter of its advanced weapons....

“Actions are needed. Words matter but Actions are needed in order to save Ukraine, and actually in order to save an entire civilization, mainly the Western civilization; the Free World. We have to frame this war [Russia-Ukraine war] in that context. This war is Not just a war between Ukraine and Russia. This is the war that criminal Putin waged against Nato; the Western civilization, and actually against Humanity.” - Arseniy Yatsenyuk, former PM of Ukraine

Not much of an analyst. Just in the last few days, Ukraine has nearly tripled its outgoing barrages of 155mm artillery. They have fired more ATACAMs than in recent months. They have held materiel in reserve and now that the replenishments are on the way and now that some is already arriving, they are free to up the pace of short and long distance fires and have done so. This guy isn't current.
