Clint's business ethics are admirable - some big corporations and politicians could learn a lot from Clint

it just goes to show what a true gentlemen man you are its not many people as honest as you are well done big respect to you
For the ladies, the content they are looking for will be different, but for me, my favorite videos are ones where there is zero words spoken. When done right they are magic.
It's truly unfortunate that the new case cracked on you..but your doing the right thing by taking care of the replacement and calling it a learning experience. I am so impressed by your knowledge and skills sets you have working on these dozers..but your human and rarely issues like this happen. But your a fair and honest business owner and by showing this it should and will bring you more business in the future. My Dad was a Napa jobber for 56 years and the one thing he taught me about business was to conduct your business in the open be true to your customers and your success will come automatically. Your the real deal..cut from the very same fabric as his generation was.😎🛠️🚜🔧😇🚛
I certainly don't expect someone, helping me, to eat a loss for an unexpected issue. You and your team have have gone above that and proven yourselves multiple times. God bless you!
You learn a lot about a man's character by observing how he treats his wife.
You're either remarkably calm for a man who goes through this on a regular basis, or you edit the parts where you throw tools and break things 🙂
Working on stuff painted yellow - my favorite kind of C&C Equipment video!
Your at least a decent honest guy Clint, love your whole crew, y'all seem to be all honest, that's one thing I like about y'all.
You did what you always do the right thing and that’s why people trust you with their equipment great job.
Here’s a future video suggestion, how about an on site logger visit to inspect the dozers in action so we can see just so hard they work these machines 👍🏽

The right thing is not always the easy or affordable thing. Well done gang👍🇺🇸
You guys always do the right thing and take care of your customers. That's what I love about this channel.
I own a gunsmithing shop and dropped a customers scope. The customer attached it and brought it in because it was not zeroing. Well the customer failed to tighten the base. When I was inspecting the gun to determine what might be the issue for the gun to fail in zeroing, the scope, rings and base came off the gun and hit the cement floor and put a dent in the new scopes bell housing. I replaced the scope (at my expense) and I only charged the customer to properly fasten the base to gun and attach the scope and rings to the base properly. I feel your pain but customers appreciate good service.
"Taking the Browns to the Super Bowl" ... Kevin, your are an absolute Nut!
I think that was the right thing to do. You’re an honest business owner who always takes care of his customers.
What I like about you guys is the honesty and integrity you have.A lot of other shops would have hid the cost of the replacement pump in the bill somewhere. I did see you were a little gun shy when you first started to move the dozer.THANKS for taking us along on this repair.
Sometimes learning new things is very expensive? Sometimes it's just a matter of throwing some parts at it until it decides it once to run. Thanks for not cutting out the middle 2/3 of this and just made 1 video of a simple success. none of us would have learned anything from it
Kevin turns good wrench. You`re lucky to have him.
Ha Bud , I use red cans marked diesel just like the big dogs over at C&C Equiment no hater here bud lol😂
Work and rework!!! 😁😁😁🌟🌟🎄🎄"a little something, something for kevipoo" thanks for sharing!!!! 😀😀😀
Great video. Clinton, I’m guessing that you are probably one in a million that would do that. When Dirt Perfect bought that dozer from you and what went down with that I pretty much knew you were a good and honest man. You haven’t proven me wrong yet. 😊 Thanks for sharing!
I've been working on cars for 25 yrs and believe me there's always expensive lessons
I think what you are doing will bring you more customers. Your honesty and integrity will bring you more customers in my opinions. I applauded you for doing what’s right !👍👍👍
You should charge the engineers at Deere who designed it so that a faulty valve could break a metal case.

Deere should have stopped at steam tractors.
Not too many honest shops around anymore ,shows you care and want to keep your customers
This is what Honest and Reputable shops do , you eat your mistakes and don't Pass it on the to the costumers, hard to find in today's world ,A tip of the hat to Clint and the C&C shop .
Here in Canada diesel jugs are yellow, you are an honest shop owner very few are left in this world
...Good customer Service can B expensive but Integrity is Priceless!
Clint you have impeccable integrity thank you for having high morals
Training for the crew on yet another item that can go bad and down the tubes. Good decision and keeps the customer happy.
Clint, You are an amazing patient man and honest to the core. You have an exceptional team and when you sell your equipment it is as good as new. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely the right thing to do, ethics and integrity are a disappearing pat of business. The value of your business just went up.
Good on you Clinton. The right thing to do is the right thing to do.
Your reputation is the only thing that matters at the end of the day. Good job guys.
What I think is ,You are a VERY GOOD PERSON.
Sir. You are the only one on you tube to point out/speak about things going wrong. And yes, its difficult to pick the right culprit out of the 10 possible suspects. Given the manufactorers remark about these houses you could by no means suspected an other cause. As a person you are very neat to not charge the customer. Indeed he cant be blamed for this. How ever the guy who sold the parts and informed you is an other matter.
Right thing to do on the cracked pump. If it was me or anybody. Thats a big sign when that happens to a pump. Great job Clint.👍
Your a good MAN CLINTON giving away tools ❤😊❤😊
Good customer service splits the cost. Great service never asks. Good on you!
I think I wouldn't charge them full for the pump because it has been rebuilt but if you don't charge them my hat goes off to you like you said most people would have charged
Clint, in the long term, by far the best decision. I hope your customer sees the videos and remains a customer for good.
Integrity is the word I will use....Clint your shop and your reputation is beyond reproach...I wish you were closer to NH
I have to agree with the crowd. You did an Honest and Upfront thing by covering the By-Pass valve, even thought it was not a known issue, and was not covered by Deere, or the Customer. IMHO, you should not be liable, but as the Aussies say “Good On Ya Mate”
I must add it is so nice an honest guy admitting that ìt was their mistake and taking the hit well done
Doing the right thing is never wrong! You will be rewarded for being honest.
I ran a business for approximately 35 years. It NEVER pays to have your customer pay for your mistakes. They WILL find someone else, and they will tell their frends.
This is another great example why your shop is busy and people pay you instead of the other guy to fix their issues. Well done Clint. Honesty and integrity are wonderful traits. Keep up the stellar work. Thanks for sharing
Well sometimes we have to eat our mistakes. It is the cost of maintaining your reputation . It just confirms your first class operation. Clint . I would recommend your company to anyone in search of reconditioned equipment.
Very honest way to do business if it was my dozer I'd pay the labour fitting the second pump at least to help you out
You are true, gentleman. That's why people enjoy doing business with you. Because they know you're a very honest man. You tell him what's what. You're made a mistake, you'd learn from it. You go on down the road, word-of-mouth is what brings reliable customers back to you, God bless you.
Everyone knows that things with computers are better than things without computers How many straightforward machines that could be mended with spanners are still around today? Joking aside, most of these machines will become obsolete when electronic components and software become unavailable Long before the mechanical parts are made from Unobtainium Nice honest repair guys 👍
Yea... only half the problem was fixed... so you did the right thing... and learned that that broken pump casing problem needs a more thorough inspection... to confirm that it won't happen again... Experience can be costly... but it's the costly ones that we remember best... makes us all better for it though... so thanks for the education...
Great customer service. Buy you doing the right thing you are gaining customer trust and new customers. By eating that, as you say, will return to you 10 fold.
I believe you have done the best thing for your customers, and you will be paid for your honesty in the long run.😊
Kevin and Clint are a well oiled pair to work on a well oiled dozer
We need more guys like you in this world. Honest, seems like a great dad, good boss and a friend!
thanks for being honest about that pump. HAVE A GREAT DAY!
Remember the person lower on the totem pole is always the one to blame!
Expensive lessons are long remembered. Suggests that until you understand why the fault occurred you are risking recurrence. Good lesson, but costly.
And the dream continues, not funny but entertaining, Clint when things go wrong they really go wrong. Exasperated and expensive but that was the right call not charging for the new cases. Your take on business will continue to pay ten fold. All you can do is Laugh it off and move on👍👍👍
That is the right thing to do. That’s called integrity
Its called being honest and being a good man
What I like about you way, is to think it out and keep trying until it works.
Absolutely outstanding on your part Sir not charging the customer. Like you said it was an expensive lesson learned on your part but your honesty will pay you back many times over. Not many business owners like yourself out there today, keep up the good work your an inspiration to your boys and hopefully they’ll follow in your footsteps. I know your dad has to be proud of the man you turned out to be Clint.
That's the right thing to do customers will respect t and revisit your business more for work.
That sounds fair to just charge for the valve. Hard lesson to learn but will be remembered if you see it again. That valve needs a sensor to show a failure and shut it off before damaging the system.
Man, I could only imagine what your time and the shops' time would cost when this is all over .You and your people doing that show a lot. You're a good man, and I love your show.thanks for everything you do for us to watch and learn the real-life struggles.
It's what you do when it's your fault! Well done!
It sucks but I think it’s the right thing to do. It’s hell being honest businessman great videos keep up the good work. Thank you.
I support you being a good shop and treating customers as you should. Thanks for being a stand up shop.
hello c&c equipment it's is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks friends randy
My thoughts is you would have me for a customer for life. That is a great way to treat your customers. Very Humble Clinton. I really like that in a person not much of it in today world left. Nice job Fellas
I think you are doing the right thing. That's valve is probably what broke the frist case.
Honesty pays in the end, your customers trust you and you sleep better.
People have way too much time on their hands if they post whinging comments about the the colour of diesel containers. As long as they don’t leak who gives a sh---t. Thanks for the video Mate
Respect to you Clint, admitting a mistake and not charging your customer for the case . And Kevin working for free in that rebuild lol
Youre a standup guy Clint with a standup team. Great video. Shoutout to Mrs. C.

👋 hi :)
Never had a doubt that you were going to eat the cost Clint. You are an admirable businessman and you always run your company by those standards!! As always thank you for bringing us along on this 3 part adventure!!!
A man of integrity! I hope you are blessed with more work than you can handle.
Tough pill to swallow but you are doing the right thing
Clint, it’s a winning combination with Mrs. Clint, Kevin, your boys, and you that makes your company the best. I enjoy all your videos and they’re always fun and educational
A wise older man once told me --- a bought lesson was a good one...--- I agreed with him...I then said. But why are they so Expensive....😮
After being business myself, most people don't understand that you lose more than just costs of replacement ,labor, etc..... because if your doing make up/warranty work, you are also losing time for being available to do new work as well. Sometimes parts can be the most expensive, but its always the time that you lose that can dig into the wallet the most when your shop has a list of jobs to be done at a certain time... you did the right thing standing up, but I would mention it that you ate a chunk and see if they meet you halfway... its also the right thing to do. I know that for the moment, Kevin will get his wages and your not going to lose the shop.. christmas won't have charcoal for stocking stuffers... yet a turn in our economy can take the wheels off of any company. One other side note Clint..... its more my thoughts tho.... how long can anyone really keep parts for all old equipment and not go through a lot of issues like the box you were depending on to read sensors? I know that just going to a parts store for say any old pickup truck.... if its popular, no problem but say getting turn signal switches for a american motors rig just because one guy in your town loves his Hudson hornet or say a Studebaker.. good in their day maybe but as for popular.... not so much and so stocking parts become inventory... that you will own till the kids take this business
I second: What a remarkably honest & honorable guy. Well done Clinton
Clint, you have to be one of the top video producers on KZread, you are able to keep the viers interested in what you're doing and explaining why it's being done, good for you, you would make a great instructor if you can teach that monkey that paints your equipment for you, you can teach anyone, just teasing about Kevin he acts like he has a heart of gold
Yes Clint...you made the right choice! Thanks for being honest C&C Equipment, that's the main reason why I watch your channel! Keep up the good work.
Took a few tries but you got it. I think you might have a ghost in the machine but you got it tamed.good work.
Thanks for the class room training, in my 44 years of industrial maintenance troubleshooting has always been the most enjoyable.
That makes a customer. Win Win
I think that is cool they way u done that with the other case helps the customer now n keeps them happy n comeing back n helps u n the long run with people knowing how u run your business n taken good care of your customers n do great work
Admitting and taking a bath on the bill goes so far and it shows every customer just how honest you all are for it too how honorable you all are. Mistakes happen and not every reman'd part is a guarentee replacement for warrenty purposes from those places. Thanks for sharing and happy that it got figured out in the long run. Way to go everyone for keeping your heads up and tackling the situation. 👍😎
You’re a good man Clint. In the long run you will win!! A man of honor is a bit difficult to find these days. You have the admiration of God, your family, that customer, all of your employees, and your thousands of loyal viewers.
Clint, blessings to you for doing what was right.
It’s not often the sequel is even better The honesty is great to see real problem solving
Great thing to do Clint! That customer will remember it, and be back again! Plus other people see your service and quality of work, they will be there too!
Real integrity on display again. I hope the customer appreciates the service you provide.
It’s kinda nice to see that even the pros have difficulty tracking down problems from time to time.
Your a good person Clint I wish more people had your attitude.
