Major oversized overweight Cat D8K dozer we hauled in.. Did we scale it legally?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
We pick up a monster Kitty Cat down in Kentucky. Follow along to see if we can haul it legally. Also if you can guess the number of loaded miles I drove one way we will give you a swag pack, comment in the description.
Also will have another video of hauling the blade coming out

You never miss a gear. The tachometer in your head is perfect. When I was a kid I ran a D9 cable lift at the local waste site. She was not fun to start with a pony in cold mornings. She had a crack in her head a child could lose his pecker in when she was cold too. I bought so much alumaseal the napa guy thought I was making thermite! I am disabled now and I love being on this end of your camera so much.thank you! Love, Jerry S.
I like watching these machines come in,get serviced, have any needed repairs done, and get painted. I like watching the transformation. Please transform this D8.

I'm 81 years old beed driving truck since 1960 and pulled a low bed for many years. Love watching your equipment videos but most of all I love when you pick up equipment in your Pete, The new trucks today are mostly automatic. I drove a KW with a 5 and a 4 a twin stick and love the sound of your truck when you turn on the Jake's. I'm still driving and miss the lobbed. I just deliver trucks now so I don't even pull a trailer. Keep making your great videos I'm sure their are a lot of old timers like me that really love your stuff.

There are some YT truck drivers that are not professionals doing there jobs and they film it cut corners securing their loads, break traffic laws it’s embarrassing for professional truck drivers. 327.3 miles total.

Thanks for letting me ride along I really enjoyed it , better than being at the fair when I was a kid. Looking forward to seeing what it takes to make her perfect again 😊.
I like how you always make sure that your load is secured properly and that you explain what is required. Your trip should be 125 miles

Clint I wonder if you and LetsDig 18 , and the DP crew truly realise how much pleasure, and how many lives you all touch with your video's. The lockdown in the UK was an unpleasant experience and seeing you all operate so well made me feel a lot better. Happy Thanksgiving to you all. For once on the Bristol Channel coast in England its a fine but cold and blowy day.. Best regards

Love what you all do, love the channel and love watching your videos and learning a little here and there about these machines. I also love the community you have built with DP, Captain K. and it's inspiring to watch the support you give each other. I'm gonna guess 264 miles on your road trip! Be safe out there!!!
When I was a kid I worked part time for a company that did moderate size jobs. They had their own tri axles and on my first day we had one roll over. It was all hands on deck to the crash site. We all learned a lot that day.
225miles,,,,When I seen you turning onto HWY 62 in Greenville, Ky I knew exactly where you picked up that Cat. My old stomping grounds !👍
Clint your videos are always great to watch. Enjoy the shop hijinks cut ups and laughter. You guys are fun to hang around with. Thanks for the ride along. 329.6 miles
I love the sound of the Jake break, that was one of my favorite parts of going on the road with my buddy Tiny when he drove back in the early 2000s. I used to drive past your shop all the time, it is so peaceful out that way. I'm stuck in the middle of Bloomington most of the time now, but anyway Stay safe brother. Can't wait till the next video. The scenery is so awesome in Nashville in the fall. Brown County is such a beautiful area.

Way to go Clint!!~ I helped load a 794 CAT truck (250t capacity) at the Decatur Plnt in 1982. It was the frame, engine and trany. I don't remember the net on that bugger. The truck had 4 axles under the tractor, a three axle jeep over that, and six axles under the trailer. We had to use two 50t overhead cranes to pick it up. The driver wanted engine back. We told him it wouldn't work. It didn't. We picked it up six times before we got the weight on the axles balanced. He left like his tail was on fire. He had to be out of IL before dark. I always wondered if he made it. He was headed for a copper mine in Wyoming. Great fun.....

Many Thanks for the ride-a-long Clint! Very enjoyable trip. I retired from trucking in Christmas of 09' so this trip was nice. 😊
Thanks for the ride along again Clinton. My guess is 134 miles
Great video, it’s gonna look the business once you guys get your hands on it, especially when Kevin gives it a good paint job.. looking forward to the working progress… 🇬🇧🇬🇧
My guess is 126 miles. I love watching you guys purchase, repair/restore and sometimes repaint the equipment so it will be good and reliable for the buyer! Keep up the great work!
Enjoyed seeing the colorful scenery through Brown County. I guess 146.5 miles.

Thanks for the ride Clint. I enjoyed it. I think it was 130.2 miles.
130.1miles....great old dozer keep up the most excellent work!
Mr. Clint, I'm gonna say 131 miles not counting the jog you took to the scales, I figure that would add 1 more mile to the trip if you count that. Love these "pick-up-n-haul" videos. Anxious to see the work to be done on this kitten! Waitin' to see what remarks Mr. Kevin has to say when he walks up to it LOL PS Bein' from a small town myself, I couldn't help but wonder when you came through that last small town before you get to your shop... I could hear some ole feller sayin' "Looky comin' yonder, ole Clint done bringing in another monster this mornin'" LOL And yes, some of us would like to ride along shotgun when you go back to get the blade!
Enjoyed the ride along. Very nice truck. ( Any chance you could place the camera in the cab about 1" higher, that would be nice, allow us to see out the windscreen better :) )

218 miles. That's a nice looking ol girl. Those old cats have always been my favorite machines. Great find, stay safe and see you next time
I like you grew up around heavy equipment , at 84 years under my belt l like being entertained by the good equipment good noble men and a good man on a Jake brake
Greetings from No VT - Nice road trip. Gives us all a sense of where a piece of equipment comes from as you do the updates, repairs, refurbishing and miracle making!
A beast pulling a beast. Those are both impressive machines. Cool video as always. 256 miles
Enjoyed the ride along Clint. Thanks.
Loved this one Clinton. As a Brit it was lovely to see the colours of the trees and everything on the drive. I missed if the road sign instruction to pull in for weighing was triggered by weight sensors in the road or someone from the authorities. Regarding the weight limit, what if that was a D9 or 11, is this permit related? Respect for you not delegating this job.
Great ride along video. Good to have a driver like you on the road. 188 miles
Great video. 205 miles. Love to watch all the different kinds of jobs your great at doing
I love all your videos you show everything you don’t cut crap out it’s awesome keep up the great work
I think your one way journey was 129 miles 😏 love the channel .
Thanks for the ride along Clint I’m sure the D8 will look great after you guys get done with it. My guess is 201 miles.
Great video Clint love the shots from the machine. As usual.

Great video Clinton! Looking forward to this dozers future! Sure it will be good..🇦🇺🍺🍺

You are a good driver. Some of these turns were tight but even with oncoming traffic you did perfect.
Gotta love the cackle of the old cats? Retired truck driver and operator and nothing sounds better sir. Thank you for the ride along. Guess on miles is 107

Awesome video of you hauling that massive iron down the highway..always wondered what it was like to do it..can check that off my list now. Appreciate you taking us along for the ride was really cool to watch. Will venture a guess for 635 miles round trip. Thanks again glad you made it back safe and sound.😁👍🇺🇸🔧
Awesome awesome videos my guess is 190 miles
Love watching the Pete going to pick up some toys ❤
I'd say 193 miles give or take 10 miles. Nice solo road trip the Sir. I'm sure you knew the right truck srop to get breakfast or lunch at. Back when I drove semis I had a book an old retired trucker gave me telling the best home food truck or mom and pop feed troughs were. I only drove 6 months after attending a community college GI bill school as my then wife nd baby daughter hated me being gone so much. I did love driving tho. That Jake break sound still gives me goise bumps.
Thanks for the tour of the countryside Clint and loving the Ride in that beast
I'm going to Guess 387 on mileage and I have to say that tractor looks to be in good shape and sounds great great video
I like watching the video today with trucking the new dozer to the shop. Y’all are making singer great videos with restoring the old equipment. Keep up the great job. I’m going to guess you hauled the dozer 180 miles to the shop one way.

We are getting our first snow tonight in Vermont! What a beast! Great job! I ran a D8 in Connecticut 20 years ago for a short time! Powerful dozer for sure! 300 miles!
Great Video. Can't believe that there was hardly any trucks at Lebanon Jct. WTH. I can't believe that they built a new scale house and inspection barn in Seymour. I guess I've been gone too long. Stay Safe out There 🇺🇸 👍
189 miles BTW that's an old truckers tale about the turbos spinning and ruining the bearings, the valves in the engine are never both open at the same time to let air pass freely thru the cylinder head , only way the turbo could possibly spin is with extremely leaky exhaust
