Local loggers did it again. What did they break this time on their John Deere dozer
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Local loggers brought us another Deere dozer in for repairs. It would not steer and had some transmission issues. See what we found out.

One of my favorite sayings… “If you don’t schedule time for maintenance, your equipment will schedule it for you.”

Some people would rather fix it when it breaks instead of having a $500 bill in maintenance now they have a $5000 bill to repair the stuff

You had your viewers so involved in this repair that I checked for grease on my hands. I enjoy your videos

I would prefer watching skilled women in bikinis doing the same job, though I digress as my imagination takes me to other places, but ok, watching Clint and Kevin comes in a close second 🤣

Clint more of production manager.Kevin gets work done.
I was thinking there was NO WAY you'd be able to get that one piece out of there! Wow Clint...you really know your stuff!!!👍
Given the opportunity they could probably destroy a steel anvil too. You should be thanking them for the make work projects LOL
You never cease to amaze me with your knowledge Clint, you and Kevin do fine work. 😎
Great job identifying the problem so quickly. Keep up the good work.
I like your integrity by only doing what's needed. The customer benefits by not being shafted and knowing they can trust you guys to know your onions. A car dealer would have just fitted a brand new engine. You guys work well together and this was an enjoyable video. Thank you Clinton & Kevin.

Also this is on tape that customer himself can watch and see for himself (no car dealer would ever tape their work for you to see lol
One thing enjoyable about C & C channel is the Boss ain't up in the office feet on his desk sippin' coffee as his hardwirking Sausage Fingers employee is struggling by himself to get that beast back on the job. Clint is right there in the thick of it gettin' greasey right beside him. Another satisfied customer gets his equipment back and reliable. Amazing how one circlip could put a monkey wrench in the works. Also amazing how little room they had to get at it.
Even old school bullet proof dozers can go down from a 5$ clip great video men
It amazes me that you can look at a piece of metal in an drain pan and diagnose the probable issue. Lots of skill and experience at work here! Great video guys!
My heart sunk when you dropped those washers on the brake assembly. I thought how in world is he going to be able to reinstall those, but you made it look easy, great job.
I am glad that the loggers are hard on their equipment. That's job security for you.
My, those Loggers can be a little hard on the iron. The good thing is when the Loggers are working it is job security for you Guys :-) That was a great piece of trouble shooting, that initially looked very difficult. Thank you for posting, all the best from the U.K.
I now consider myself a duly certified KZread John Deere mechanical engineer and approve of this repair. Thanks guys.
Great job in repairing that old machine. Those loggers really wear the heck out of it!
Thanks for the video Clint Like that and you explane it very well .
You can't deny the man knows his stuff.
We came down this week and bought a grapple rake we put on a Bobcat. Nice to meet some of you guys and happy with the purchase. Another satisfied customer.

As a former Maint. manager for a logging/Mill operation I can tell you that logging is hard, almost destructive, on equipment. Great video on the repairs of this old John Deere Clint.
All I can do this time is agree with the first dozen or so comments, you know how much I enjoy these shop videos. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
You run an awesome shop very knowledgeable and able to explain the mechanics of the equipment!! Plus really good videos!
"Whoa Horsey" I lost it !
I feel such a sense of accomplishment helping you fix that bulldozer. If you need my help in the future please feel free to post another video.
Loggers are hard on Equipment. Though where some of them are working it's CRAZY steep and Rocky sometimes..Great Fix Clint and Sausage Fingers ..LOL😂..Its a Damn Shame a 5 cent part broke too cause this repair.. They are a Good Dozer they can handle Alot of abuse...Loggers are hard working Fools for sure..Great Video Guys..
I still say you should adopt Mr Kev-dog!
I've said it before but it's a pleasure to watch a master at work.
Sounds like a dentist office in the background.
You made that look easy! Many years of experience right there!! Great video!!

Great video Clint
Good save on repairs
Good luck fixing the dozer
Clint & Kevin great job very well explained the knowledge the two of you have is priceless, you make a video good enough to have someone fix there own tractor if they could get any help… love the videos keep them coming… I was in the trucking industry in oil patch for 30 years sure bring back a lot of memories fixing breakdowns. We did all repairs in our shop from A to Z. Couldn’t afford it to take to dealership as the hourly prices and down time pretty much killed a guy. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Very informative you break it down to where a non-mechanic can actually understand it which is really nice greatly appreciate the video Clint
C and C is the Best learning Channel , That looked like a disaster to me , but to you it was a simple fix .
Love the videos!! I've never touched heavy equipment, just cars, trucks and small engines! The way you explain things I really think I could do the work on them! I guess the size of those deterred me from even working on heavy equipment!!
I took the day off from wrenching to relax with the wife and some yard work and to watch my favorite guys at work be safe until the next video.
Several of those "sproing" and "clatter, clatter" moments for us to enjoy.
I take it that you are fixing to relieve that logger of some of that money in the big old wallet.. love your video's keep them coming.
Another educational video. Always enjoy your videos.

Got to love old equipment without all those electronic features. Tight quarters to get in the trans. Thanks for sharing.
You'd have a hell of a time lining up that winch without a fortlift. But then again it looks like you can't take it out without one so there is that. Always good for a laugh when the Boss missorders.
Interesting look into the evolution of track layer clutch and brake management.
Good thing you knew the band would rotate down cuz it looked impossible from my angle. Another fine job well done, you and sausage fingers aka Kevin make a good team.
good teaching, good mechanics...
Lol nice job! And remember you two with our loggers thier wouldn't be the paper we all love to have cause if we didn't it would be a Itty day lol
Love the way you guys roll nothing but Milwaukee cordless equipment
Another informational lesson,.. Great job!!!!
your knowledge always amazes me and its great to see you all having a laugh while doing a really good job super to watch thanks for showing it all 👍👍👍
Another great video. Always a pleasure to watch true talent. Thanks
You guys fixing broke stuff videos are always my favorites, including the Drag Line track rebuild. I'm a 65 year old disabled guy, who worked hard my entire life, & love all kinds of machines, & knowing how they work, now all I can do is watch & learn from the pros. & learn how it is Dun. : )
A clean job is a happy job 👍👍
great video, no stink 💣 in this one 🤣great tutorial 👏👏👏👍👍

Very Good Job My Friend ❤❤❤❤❤
Those g series 450 and 550 models were always my favorite to work on for the ease of working on the trans vs the earlier models but we’re still tough as nails for the cowboy operators. That hygard had that nice burnt smell coming thru the video with just the right amount of sparkles for flavor!!!
Love watching your video's,you asked the question about how long was too long, for me they will never be long enough.
Fantastic video thank you
love the RUN IT TILL IT DONT RUN NO MORE operators!
Great memories of handing wrenches to my Dad on his Saturday OT rebuilding heavy equipment. I was the “help”. Thank you.
Great video. Yall make quick work of the brakes 😂😂
ANOTHER GREAT JOB ! Keep them Deeres runnnnning !
I keep learning things here. Keep up the good work. Keep smilin
Clinton and Kevin great video! You both are amazing mechanics! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Another great teaching video Clinton! Thanks for bringing us along.
you sure do great work
Nice work have a good day.
Your range of knowledge on equipment still amazes me Clint.
I love job security for you guys.the people in your area look like the cash register is good in your office right.look like this dozer need some attention right
Seams easy to work on. If you have the tools and equipment to handle the heavy parts.
❤ I do like this kind of podcasts. Great job guys!

3/26/23; ..amazing how you have learned sooo many details on these various machines; you no trouble zooming in on t exact problem, then somehow get yur 📸 camera & fingers inside the belly of the beast & fix it! So how much $ did a broken 'c' clip on left brake band tension assembly cost? $.25? ...but labor & few new related items + new hydraulic oil.. humm..gotta be coupla thousand including minimum shop time (fork lift, psi wash etc). Customer gotta be happy to have his dozer back in safe workable order. Another good job & fine video presentation. Helpful tips & info to all viewers having this type of equip also gotta be appreciated. Good job Clint! Stay safe & carry on!💪⚙️🔧👍👏✅️🍺😊
Interesting working on heavy equipment. Too bad it doesn’t have a top access plate over the bands.
Outstanding professional craftsmanship! I couldn't help but think about the process for your laundry and how the washing machine must be crying out😅
Cool 😎stuff always 👍😎🇺🇸NY
Clint & The C & C Equipment team y’all are so wonderful to all the customers to have Quality workmanship for them😊😊😊
Great job men! Just bought a 96 450 will be needing a winch, cheers Will
Oh man that was so awkward to reach but you made it look easy! Great work.
