Pat your food dry. Makes it less likely to splash and explode while in the oil. Also the really useful tool on the video is called a spider. You can lower (and pick up) a bunch of stuff on it at once. Makes my food is less oily on the plate.

About to clean our deep fryer to use tonight: wish me luck!
If you have something like a wok, that has curved sides, use that to fry stuff. It takes less oil to deep fry, and as the oil level rises as food is added, the sloped sides lessen the bubbling over effect. So the oil isn't going to just splatter everywhere.

This is exactly how we do it in the family. Well, at least those who are neither afraid of the oil nor the cleanup afterwards. Reminds me of, I should make some schintzels sometime.

If you're nervous about dropping wings or whatever in, then just use that basket or spoon you're using to take them out. Lower in slowly.
Also make sure what you're about to fry is as dry as possible. Except maybe if it's a batter or something. Other than that, try to dry it out

You can always lower food in with a metal mesh ladle thing (like the one in the vid) if you’re scared like me

You can also use a small pot to fry if you dont wanna use or wast so much oil, where i live is the price isnt low

Dry wings in the fridge with baking powder and salt, uncovered, then bake.
For those who are scared of hot oil when frying, just use tong and make sure to drop it near the oil in the pot or frying pan to avoid oil splash on our skin.

I was frying something with egg one day, and as usual, it made it very bubbly. I somehow forgot about this and got too close and my hand touched the bubbles. Ouch.

Why not put the food in the spoon and lower into the oil?
Never do 3/4s full, UNLESS you are frying a relatively low moisture food. Rather be safe than have a grease fire

Honestly I don't think you really need flour for wings plus he's doing buffalo wings. That's gonna give enough flavor already that seasoning isn't really needed. That's just me though

Canola or peanut. Be careful if you're allergic
please let the oil cooldown after cooking

No. Fill pan with hot oil to the rim then stand back and throw chicken in. The higher the better 😂

I used a airfryer it's healthier & tastes sooo much better than regular fried wings & this way you don't have to worry about this soo people Go To a Airfryer Instead tastes better & you don't have this problem just saying
