Wow! What an amazing surprise it is to tune in to the weekly Marie TV and find that your question was answered! How cool!!.. When I originally wrote this question, the scary thing I was needing to decide about, I went ahead and did it, and it was one of the most empowering things I've done in my life! This question actually came back around at the perfect time as I make a huge life decision that has to do with my business, education, and finances. The best thing that could happen is that I make that leap in my business to 6 figures, maybe even 7 or more. I'll also get to help a lot of people and support a lot of positive world changes! I loved the Missy quote too.. One of these days Marie we are going to have a dance off!.. Mark my words, it's on! :)

when ever I need to take a decision I just make list of "What I will get from this decision" and " what I'm going to loss from this decision" and that makes everything clear to me :)

SO GOOD!! I've used this method FOREVER and it WORKS!! Some call it intuition and don't pay attention. I play this game with people struggling with choice. The WCS is another I've asked myself throughout my adult years. It doesn't work for everyone-those with a low risk-tolerance, but it works great for me ... that said, I needed to hear this again because I've not applied it much lately - SOOO, I LOVE the BCS (#3) method! It really clicks with me at this later stage in life. Thanks Marie! xxoo

Your quote "clarity comes from action" has been on my bedroom wall for the past year or so. It really helped me launch my KZread channel and find exactly what I wanted to share. I was too nervous thinking that I needed all of the "perfect" ideas and spent about a year just thinking, then I heard your quote in a past video and just started. It didn't start off pretty, haha but it eventually got there and now I love the clarity of my vision for it! 🙏🏽🤗 Namaste beautiful Marie and Team Forleo.

I recently had to decide if it was best to leave a job. I am a natural strategist and thought through everything...what sealed it you ask? When I realized my health was being brought down...losing 7lbs in 1 week because of not eating from stress, dreading everyday and not being able to sleep...I said to myself the worst that could happen is I stay and continue down this path. The best is I leave and keep my sanity and health and move on to a new job. I'm going to Ireland in March and am taking these few weeks to RELAX! Also, I have other things in my favor to deal with that job so it may pay off in the long run anyway.

Love the technique of writing it down about stepping out of worst scenarios. It makes so much sense how people been able to do brave things. Best scenario: I land a freelancing job as a photographer/film maker who travels and documents important culture issues. Worst Case Scenario: People hate my work for life.

Thank you SO MUCH for this video Marie, I watched it last year and it helped me a lot then. Now I found it again as I'm going through a difficult decision regarding my career and it helped even more! The first 3 "tests" you recommended clearly pointed me in the direction of saying "YES" to this very scary decision I've been contemplating. I realized it is DEFINITELY worth it to at least "work it" (in a low-risk way) with this decision in several ways and see how it feels to actually LIVE IT. And after using the tests in the video, I now have a clear step-by-step "work-it plan" that I'm going to follow! That feels so much better than having all of that in my head for months!! I swear I'm going to hang your phrase on a wall in my apartment "Clarity comes from engagement, not thought". I should remember that more often!

Hi Marie. This video is amazing! It reminds me of when I was considering leaving my corporate job to become a professional organizer! First I did some snooping around with colleagues through a survey I created. Then I took an online course on entrepreneurship. Last, I experimented with family and friends, pretending I was a professional organizer so I could see the results. Well, everything was positive, so I made the leap quite boldly. Eleven years later, I present all kinds of organizing tips to groups and clubs (organizing papers, space, time, money, holiday planning, first baby, estate liquidation, etc.) You are awesome!!!

Thank you so much I really needed it... I'm thinking of getting into styling career and finding an internship but I also need to finish my degree of fashion design which i failed the last year due to mental issues and extreme self doubt but I need to decide whether I want to take the last year up again and get the degree and I'm very anxious and scared and all the memories of that year come and i feel like i wanna go to sleep.. if at all there was a way I could just be more excited and b strong and just do it.. but I sometimes think will I b really able to do it...!! I'm 25 I'll be 26 (in july) when I start the third year... and I desperately need to work get a job and earn and be independent, my parents insult me every now and then (the source of self doubt) over this and it's too much to handle I've been through this shit since as long as I can remember It's alarming time and really stressful I DON'T KNOW what to do.. It is a passionate dream to be a designer and be in the industry... I can earn as a stylist and use that money to support my passion for designing or finish the damn degree.. I'm getting a diploma certificate for the two years I finished though... Don't know.. HELP...!!!!

This is also great for controlling your reactions and feelings when life gets HARD. I just yesterday heard something scary (a loved one with a bad medical diagnosis, or something out of my control) my body goes into shock and my heart hurts (no kidding). Of course it's not healthy (or comfortable) but going through this THINKINGLY (is that a word? mine now!), writing it down, can really really help get back from PANIC BRAIN/BODY to Okay, what do we do now, and take control of things. Thanks, Marie.

I myself like to do the following things as well: gather information, precisely state the decision, give this assignment to my subconsciousness and let the answer come to me. And in addition to your 'try and find out'-suggestion: make the decision smaller, break it down into actionable items and see along the way (of doing). Have fun everyone! Regards, Sousan Tam

Worst and best case scenario are completely subjective. There are known unknowns and unknown unknowns we cannot know of. #1 makes sense and can be deeply intuitive/spiritual. Although I believe the BODY itself is nothing without the mind itself.

I’m desperately unhappy in my job, have been for a long time. I tried a new role in order to give the co Panay one last bite of the cherry but unfortunately it’s still not for me and I can’t wait to get out. I start a new job in a few weeks, the money is better and the shifts are fantastic. It doesn’t set my world on fire when I think about it though. If anything, I’m kind of dreading it. I have a glimmer of a second opportunity but the money isn’t great and there is travelling involved where as there isn’t with the job I’ve just taken. I can’t however, stop thinking about it. I really want this job but the financial thing is holding me back and i’m in absolute turmoil over it. I’ve looked at making provisions to cut back etc but I’m tired of living a life where I’m constantly making sacrifices, I’d kind of like to earn some decent money for a change it’s just a shame the other job didn’t pay better.
