A massive thank you to David De Gea for 12 years of truly magnificent goal keeping. He will go down forever as a United legend. Very sad to see him go but it was the right time.

That penalty save against Van Persie was kinda the turning point of his career. In the early games De Gea actually made alot of mistakes and did not look confident especially when dealing with crosses into the box. But after that game against Arsenal he really picked up and went on to become one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

@@ab-bi7qq for me de Gea is world class keeper that struggle to find form, he can pop worldie save in one match and do howler in another. So by putting dean as "rival" Can potentially make de Gea give his 120% like romero do because he knew he has limited game time,

They said he's a flop, they said he wont be successful, they said he's an average goalkeeper.... Now he's one of if not the best goalkeeper in the world

He dipped because the whole team dipped, but I have confidence everyone will improve drastically when the season starts up again including De Gea

Imagine, first 10 games you're facing some opponents like Chelsea, Arsenal, City (twice) and Liverpool but only losing on 1 match, even though he conceded 6, like 4 goals in last 10 minutes

For me he is the best man united goal kepper of all time. He may not have won a smuch as schmiecal or van der sar but he's been playing in a much worse united side and still consistently been there best player and saved them from embarrassment many times.

@@rickykurnia8940 exactly. Yes this season he's made a lot of mistakes. Noone can deny it and his form has dropped this season. But he's still played games where he saved man united. For example one of the times we played Liverpool. He made 4 or 5 outstanding saves.

De Gea looked meek and wasnt imposing dealing with balls in the box. Especially after Van Der Sar, United fans were frustrated and worried he wouldn't come good. Then he stated showing reflexes and making unorthodox saves with his feet and became one of the best we have seen

De Gea's still Manchester United best goalkeeper at the moment, he's incredible

thangchano De Gea was only there for one of them. We bought him in the summer of the 12/13 season which we lost the title to City, only to win it in the 13/14 season which is then when Sir Alex retired. So no we didn’t win it three times in a row. So he’s neither stupid nor slow, you are
