That mata free-kick save was out of this world. I don't think anyone could hit a better free-kick than that. It was in the top bin and yet De gea saved it. I have never seen a better save in my life. Never watched a save this many times.

His gloves have been stung buy CR7, Suarez, Torres; tested by Mata, Aguero, Coutinho, Pedro, Firmino, Son, Kane, Vardy..... They all can testify!

Ive said it before and I’ll say it again, de gea’s 17/18 season was the best season by a united player in the premier league era. It was quite literally a Messi-like goalkeeping season. He should be remembered as a club legend.

Arguably the best shot stopper in the history of football. Regardless of the qualities he lacks, in terms of meat and potatos goalkeeping, he is incredible.

Watching this after his 400th game and the first non British to achieve that. Such legend of the club and truly one of a kind who made the standard of great goalkeepers of this great club to be alive, Barthez, Schmeichel, Van der Sar and now De Gea.

You forgot DDG save Vs Sevilla in the UCL

There was a point in his career that I was so confident in 1v1 situations and shots from 18 yards out that there was no way they were going in. In 2020, I'm on the fence about letting him go but there was a point in his career where he was so jaw droppingly stunning. Its a shame we couldn't put a better team around him. He won't go down as our greatest keeper but he may be our best ever keeper.

If anybody says he isn't among the great goalkeepers then he is either ignorant or jealous of manchester united.
