On the Strongwoman side, 12 competitors will compete in the second Arnold Strongwoman Classic
The 22nd edition of the Arnold Strongman Classic is guaranteed to be one of the most exciting contests, as three time champion Thor Björnsson and 2022 champion Martins Licis return to the spotlight to take on last year’s champion Mitchell Hooper. The field features many marquee names ready to add a first Arnold title to their resumes, including Polish athletes Mateusz Kieliszkowski and Oskar Ziólkowski, Tom Stoltman (Scotland), Oleksii Novikov (Ukraine), Maxime Boudreault (Canada), and Americans Evan Singleton, Tom Evans, and Bobby Thompson. In the women’s field, Victoria Long (USA) will look to repeat her impressive 2023 championship performance against elite female competitors Rebecca Roberts (Wales), Olga Liashchuk (Ukraine), English athletes Lucy Underdown, Donna Moore, Andrea Thompson, Canadian athletes Samantha Belliveau, Melissa Peacock, and Americans Inez Carrasquillo, Erin Murray, Hannah Linzay, and Angelica Jardine.

I could be wrong but on Liz and Loz’ live Strongman Sunday I thought he mentioned seeing himself listed as having a small spot and was surprised because that was the first he’d heard about it because no one had even asked/communicated this with him. He and Liz laughed about being happy to make some money if they want him to contribute. I hope they sorted it out with whoever scheduled him because I like their assessments.

4:47:32 I'd like to see someone put together a side by side comparison video syncing up Hooper's 7.10 second (initially 6.91 seconds) frame carry run and Mateusz Kieliszkowski's world record 7.0 second frame carry run, and analyzing the two runs frame by frame to see which one was actually faster? I have a feeling Mitch's run might turn out to be just a hair faster.

Like with so many other events, being a taller guy seems to be such a significant advantage for the frame carry, not having to worry nearly as much about holding the frame at a perfect angle to keep it from moving forward too much/ touching the ramp, and being able to use a bit more of a forward tilt to help with forward momentum. Mitch is 'just' able to keep the front edge of the frame above the ramp the whole way up (and I can see this being something that causes him issues in the future if he can't maintain absolutely pristine form and then experiences tiny moments of having the front edge touch and slide a bit up the ramp, which he'll then get penalized for).
