David Bowie & Freddie Mercury - Queen - Under Pressure
Il Duca Bianco, ora starà facendo un bel concerto con :" Freddie Mercury, Katy Lee, John Lennon, George Harrison, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jim Morison, Janis Joplin, Claude Nobs, louis Armstrong, Johny Cash, Kurt Cobain, Edith Piaf, Jerry Garcia, Michael Jackson, Micharl Rose, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, Mango, Pino Daniele, Demis Roussos, Maurizio Arcieri, B.B.King, Elvis Presley, Michel Antoine Petrucciani. Dirige l'Orchestra il Maestro Pierre Boulez. ... STANDING OVATION! #freddiemercury #video #davidbowie #music #live #underpressure
Under Pressure è nata così».

@@shethingsd They never performed this together live, but they knew and respected each other well enough to have written and recorded this song. They were too intense about their own work to be besties, but there was a lot of mutual appreciation between them. Also, Freddie's boyfriend/husband Jim was a hairstylist, and was the reason that David Bowie's hair was so magnificent at Live Aid. (He did Freddie's perfect hair that day too, and their good friend Elton John's. Jim had serious skills.)

Almost 35 years ago to the day, I had the historic honour to watch this legend live with Queen at Madrid, Spain. A 15 yo girl, with a couple of my best friends, without our parents knowing. Still one of the best memories of my life! It was more than worthy the consequences when they learned about it. I cried oceans when Freddie left us, I still think of him when I play his songs. @@lwh7301 ok opera. Both these two could sing opera if they wanted to. Heck, Bohemian Rhapsody is a sorta musical and David Bowie had a voice for it. Let alone Mercury who already proved it.

I remember studying in a college library with my sister and my future wife to this song... we thought we knew pressure. We thought we appreciated what pressure was... 30 years ago. We knew nothing. This song is a masterpiece. RIP Freddy. This world didn't deserver you.

Amazing song, makes you wish it would never end.
I am blown away! Just blown away at how awesome this performance is! I wasn't into Queen when I was a teen, but now I'm really appreciating them. And Freddie Mercury...what can I say?: One-of-a-kind, incredible voice, great stage presence. David Bowie, too! I miss them both so much! ❤❤

They did record the song together but they never got the chance to perform it in concert together. This video was made up from two different shows. All of the DB clips were taken from a concert he did with Annie Lennox. All of the FM clips were taken from a Band Aid concert ? I think.

@@9Tailsfan The Bowie clips were from the 1992 Freddie Mercury Tribute show, where he performed this song with Queen and Annie Lennox. Unfortunately, Freddie was no longer even alive when half this video was filmed. The Freddie clips were from Queen's "Magic" tour, which ended in a massive show at Wembley Stadium, the same venue as Live Aid. (And the Freddie Mercury Tribute show, 7 yrs after Live Aid. They needed a big place for that crowd!) Freddie finished the show wearing a massive velvet cape trimmed in fur, and a copy of the Queen's crown. He retired from touring after this, knowing that his health was beginning to decline, though he told very few people.
Here it is 2021 and I’m watching these magnificent artist who have both left us. Saddens me. Thanks for the memories guys! Takes me back to high school and those outrageously awesome years past. What a life

What they are trying to say is these people are still alive. Out of witness protection. Prince, Bowie, Mecury, Elvis, Marley, Jackson, Joplin on and on and on. Due to turning in the Illuminati for their fame to secrecy of worship to Satan. Praise God. I wouldn't doubt Lennon and Harrison. We'll see!

One of my favourite songs of all time.
Two complete legends. Both of them were amazing! they were before my time but I grew up listening to their music thanks to my parents!
Their voices are just perfect together! Always loved this song!
A unique Freddie and a terrific David, a super duo.
bowie + Freddy= magic songs, thanks❤❤❤❤
The best performance ever with David Bowie and The Queen.
I always come back to this song with both of them!! Masterpiece!! Rip!❤
I never really realized how relevant this song is ! Both Queen and David Bowie are geniuses ! Thank you !! I love this song and I wish I could have seen this live !

Sadly, they never played this song together live on stage. This video simply has great editing from different performances to give it the appearance.
2 legends and a legendary band. The talent/tightness of the band is an unseen phenomal power backing this magic. Queen will always Rock us.
Amen 🎉. My go-to get up and go... not many things bring a smile to my face. Thank you 👍
Freddie e David, descansem em paz. Jamais serão esquecidos.
Raw Talent. Rip Freddie Mercury 🕊️ Rip David Bowie 🕊️

May they enjoy their rest because Judgement Day that Lake of Fire won’t be no fun.
My brother was in the military and was able to see them live...imagine that....I love them both still....I'm glad I was born in 1959....went through eras of great music...
Brought tears of joy to my eyes. My breath literally stopped watching this . Just Wow!!🎉🎉🎉
Incredible blessings and gratitude to have lived when THEY lived and to have shared this amazing moment in time!!!!
Due grandissimi artisti!
One of my favorite duets. I still get teary when I hear it. David Bowie’s music made me feel like less of a misfit, for lack of a better term. His songs, his personality…he made me feel like it was ok to be different. It’s hard being a teen who is an empath & who’s both intelligent but also semi artistic, you feel like you’re waging an internal battle because you don’t know which side you should listen to. Thank you David Bowie & Freddy Mercury.
One of my favourite songs of Queen. Amazing duo!
So glad I got to grow up listening to both of these monster talents as it was happening. Still listening today. I miss Freddie, David, Lou Reed and all the rest. RIP. Thanks for sharing your talents❤❤❤
RIP FREDDIE AND BOWIE !! some of the greatest ever!!
