Jordan Smith hands-down the most formidable singer of the lot. Nobody else came close to his performance and singing ability. He doesn’t sound like Freddie, but cloning Freddie isn’t the point of paying tribute to him in song. He does however, sound freaking amazing. Undeniable chops and soul.

Yeah, they are all good singers, but none of them even gets close to what Freddie was able to deliver both as an excellent singer and performer. Even when he became as sick as he did, he kept on going strong till the very end!! The live aid concert truly shows this. Despite being deadly ill, Freddie kept on to the very end.

I have never been impressed with any Freddie Mercury attempts, but I must say that the first gentleman actually gave me goosebumps! Wow, does he have a set of cords on him! Not all the way Freddie; face it, that's impossible but pretty darn close!

Can't compare to Freddie. He had stage presence and a unmistakable voice. These people can sing undeniably but there will never be another Freddie Mercury.

These people can sing but nothing like the only Freddie. Adam is the only person that comes close to Freddie, close vocally, technically energetically and artistically enough that he doesn’t ruin the songs and you can enjoy the performance in a way Freddie would command . Freddie was unbelievably special, I kick myself because I did not fully appreciate just how amazing Freddie and queen were in the 80’s compared to the way I do now.

You started off with not only the best Queen cover but the best vocal performance in vocal competition history.

No 2 singers can “deliver” a song in the same way. Physically impossible! I hear Queencovers all the time. I like to hear the songs. Freddie had a “certain something” that only he with his physicality could have. Miss him like crazy. Thankfully there are so many great concert videos that help me to remember his greatness!

Great voices, but like the Great Robert Plant said at Freddie’s tribute concert “people are changing the keys to these songs because that just can’t do a Freddie” and no one ever will. It’s just not his voice, It was everything about him he was a whole vibe. When he sang he didn’t just sing he felt in every note and you felt in your soul.

The boy playing the piano is little Freddy. But to be honest, it is not only about singing clearly and powerfully to be Freddy, it is his character on the stage that we can never face again. Like he said, " THOSE ARE THE DAYS OF MY LIFE ", he is and will be forever unique.

Jordan killed it. Knocked completely out of the park. What I loved about his performance is that he wasn't trying to be Freddy. He did his own version and in spite of not being the typical tall, slender, good-looking guy, he delivered a very soulful rendition of this great song. Wish him all the best. He deserves it.

Jordan Smith was incredible. You just know Freddie in heaven whispered "that was wonderful, darling."

Freddie had emotions in his songs... he really felt it when singing... when he sang mama... he really had shivers inside

That first guy killed it! True to the original with his own spin! Gonna be a superstar!

It is not only that Freddie and Queen could sing, it was the songs they wrote! So many songs and all of them wrote some and let’s not forget they all had college degrees. They were like a perfect storm.

Jordan was really outstanding what a range! The 3 girls at end were so good.

George Michael was totally channeling Freddie when he performed “Somebody to Love” at Freddie’s memorial concert (The Mercury Phoenix Trust, in 1992) even down to drawing in the audience to sing it along with him. He hit every note perfectly too. It didn’t hurt that Brian, Roger and John were doing the background vocals. Just them and Freddie could make it sound like a large chorus of singers, or as Freddie said, “It’s the Queen sound.” The rest of the stars who sang didn’t do as well as George. He got the audience up on their feet and involved. Amazing performance.

Last 3 girls just make me feel like, I can't describe with words, I've never cried because of happiness but but even I'm man, just I should drink something strong😭 I love you Freddie😭😭😭

They all were good but the first one was my favorite his voice was magnificent.

WOW those last three girls were absolutely amazing. 3 different voices and yet they harmonize prefectly!!!

Freddie always found so much time between the notes, so he could be singing a fast phrase but there was still that feeling that he had all the time in the world to sing it. The timbre of his voice was so powerful but so smooth. That is why he is a legend and that is why he will always be The Immortal Freddie.

I do agree that no one can compare to Freddie Mercury. His voice and showmanship cannot be paralleled, He was really the “QUEEN” of his craft. But Jordan Smith gave his song justice and is one of the best singer in my opinion. He did a great job and the look on Adam Levine’s face was priceless. Adam was looking at Jordan as if it’s his own son who was performing in front of him. Thank you for uploading this video. ❤❤

I think Luca is the absolute winner. Both his voice and piano skills are worth of comparing to Freddie's. Great performance, congratulations.

Absolutely, it is impossible for a person to have his exact voice, he was born with a special gift; but there are great artists with tremendous voices who imitate him and we must recognize and admire them. 👏🎶

The closest you'll ever hear to Freddie Mercury is Marc Martel. Marc naturally sounds exactly like Freddie. Makes you cry. Marc did most of the singing in the movie Bohemian Rhapsody.

freddie said to use his songs however they want but not make them boring, i think trying to find someone with his exact voice doesn't matter since the emotion freddie put into the singing is what made it his

There’s only 1 FREDDIE . That man was AMAZING. His voice,moves, charisma and the way he owned the crowd will never be duplicated. Every time a Queen song comes on the radio you just have to move and sing with it. Freddie was magnificent and he is sadly missed.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
