Although only for a brief moment, Yoko Kurama was the strongest in the tournament. He reverted to A-class level at that point he just lost time, I mean he freakin tank Karasu's explosion.

There's not enough discrepancy here. Each of the members of team Toguro could no-diff all of the members of every other team in a 5-v-1, other than finals team Urameshi - and only their finals versions are exempt from this rule. Kurama needed a magic potion that reverted him to a past life in which he was more powerful, Hiei needed to coin-flip death to summon the black dragon, Kuwabara needed a special, one-of-a-kind weapon to shape his energy, and Yusuke needed to inherit all of Genkai's power to just barely beat their respective opponents. Similarly, younger Toguro seems to have been strong enough to defeat all of the other members of his own team handily, too. He and finals, post power up Yusuke were on a completely different level from everyone else there.

I'm pretty sure the younger Toguro was still slightly stronger than Yusuke at the end of the tournament. If you watch their final exchange, it's clear Toguro *chose* not to release himself from the Spirit Gun. He had options other than allowing himself to remain in prolonged direct contact with a concentrated projectile made up of every scrap of non-essential energy Yusuke had in his body.

If that power level for Kurama is human form then fine, but Yoko Kurama was an S ranked Demon, Toguro was only upper B.

Mistake, Yoko was Class A in her bandit days. But in the dark tournament her level was still lower than Toguro. Only in the Sensui Saga does she regain her A class.

Yoko Kurama was considered to be an A class demon in his time. He was known for it. He later achieves S class when hes training for the makai tournament.

Where did you get this information? , did you forget that someone who has a power of 2000 would have reached lower A class? , toguro was only upper B class , while yusuke was lower A class after dark tournament saga , and sensui was stated have at least 10x amount than yusuke's power in his lower A class state.

Felt like risho and toya should’ve been the same. While shishi and suzuki should’ve been half their value.

​​​both of them sucked IMO. Toya lost to kurama who couldn't use most of his power due to gamma's seal while risho lost to an injured kuwabara. Only Jin carried their team.

Toguro and Yusuke should both have between 6,000 and 7,000 at that time.

I think Chu is easy top3 in the tournament excluding toguro and yusuke's team
