Once we reach the end of the DT, I would say Hiei never matches Yusuke again… he definitely is never stronger than him after that point.

Hiei did match him when they fought in Chapter Black, but it was only because Yusuke was "needing a kick in the ass." At that point Hiei was upper B class and Yusuke was low A class at best. However, in Three Kings Arc Hiei becomes S class very quickly and they both rise to middle and then upper S class around the same time- they could have gone back and forth as they trained, there's no telling. At the end Yusuke would still be ahead, but I'd wager not by much. Even though Yusuke did much better against Yomi than Hiei did against Mukuro.

@@BlaqMagick In a way, because he wasn’t trying to obliterate her like he normally fights people. But he knew he was outclassed when he stepped into the ring so he made the shackle his target from the beginning. Mukuro was also holding back. She could’ve ended it earlier but wanted to get through to Hiei emotionally. And if she had become enraged she would have destroyed him, she’s more powerful than Yomi if she taps into that state of mind.

In the last saga, when Yusuke trains with Raizen subordinate and Hiei trains with Mukuro, the power of Yusuke was measured like 200.000 points and Hiei who was observing said that he was with the same level that Yusuke. This was before the last tournament and should be the last time they were in the same level.

Yusuke and Hiei are much close in power this power scale stuff don’t go with Yu Yu Hakusho because unlike DBZ this series had balance amongst its characters

Ok, no way is hiei stronger than yusuke at the beginning of the dark tournament. It's stated by Kurama that the reason hiei used the dragon of the darkness flame (which isn't even his power fyi) is because zeru was objectively far more powerful than him and hiei used it as a desperation move. Zeru was then confirmed to not be the strongest on the team and instead chu was. And yusuke beat chu.

so couple issues one is Spirit cuffs ripped off should be 5250. Genkai states in the Japanese dub with the cuffs on Yusuke's power output is limited to 20%. after Raizen's death they actually have a power meter and Yusuke's was over 200,000

Technically Yusuke is stronger than hiei not by much tho. It’s been proven that these 2 are close to being equal.

Yusuke beat Toguro We saw Hiei's comparison theres nothing to support them being close after that the little fight they had was not at full power at all Yusuke does better vs. Sensui than Hiei did by far, before Ryzen Yusuke and Hiei lost to Mukuro and Yomi Hiei lost more decisively, though Mukuro is stronger than Yomi but none of this really tells us whos stronger or by how much

Yeah, it should be noted that even Hei was a bit afraid of 100% (more like 112% since he was always lying) Toguru. At the end of DT with the Spirit Orb I always figure that at LEAST 5x Yusuke's power. He could have never beaten Toguru without it. With DODF Hiei might have stood against Toguru 50%, possibly 70%, but I'd say 80 or higher it would have been too much.

such a bad estimation. when yusuke was revived, vincent was class A. yusuke was class S. the difference would be like 10,000. watch yuyu hakusho again to understand the difference between class A and class S.

You're implying that when Yusuke fought the saint beasts and was just starting in the DT that he was weaker than Hiei? Also, the numbers given in the anime are already way higher than what you showed here... wat...

He was definitely weaker than Hiei at both points. Hiei would have obliterated Yusuke with the darkness dragon at the DT

Aye bro your numbers are off, where did you get these numbers anyways? Final arc is the only time they even get close to talking about power lvls and yusuke is well over 150k at base near the end. Hiei's unrevealed however Raize. Mentions he threw down with Makuro & would be even with them. If that stands as any point of judgment than we can say Hiei is about the same if at most very sliiiightly less than yusukes toward the end but theyve always been really reallly close 💪

Your scaling is off.

The idea of power levels is boring. I guess it helps establish stake or w.e but I'd rather see the nrw villain do something to dwarf the old threat rather being told. It's the difference between showing vs telling in your story

Im guessing these are made up numbers since during the demon world tournament arc we get to see a few fighters power levels... Yoko kurama had a 150k power level Base yusuke 200k Other fighters like Jin had a 120k power level.... Both yusuke and heie were S class by the end of the series but yusuke is significantly strogner Rationale: mokuro was stated to be using half her strength since she didnt hate hiei and was still able to go all out on that girl fighter and yusuke fought yomi to a standstill both basilcally passing out after the last blow and yomi and mokuro are about even in stegnth therefore yusuke is twice as strong

3 questions: -how is this rationale show yusuke to be significantly stronger? -how much is "significantly" -how much do we actually know about Hiei's real power? you mention that Mukuro didn't fight with her real power vs Hiei, but fail to mention that he too was not fighting with his real power. he also bore her no hatred -- quite the contrary in fact, which should be clear... as he fought with the point of freeing her and nothing more. Supposedly, Mukuro with her full rage in tact would have been the most powerful in the tournament... with neither of them actually giving it their all, we don't know where they -- and more specifically hiei -- measured up exactly. but it's likely that Hiei and Yusuke were very close in power by the end of everything, while still actually below Yomi and Mukuro (if/when they fought with everything they have).

Yusuke is ranked upper S class vs Yomi and hiei only middle S class

Shigure is middle S, Yoko form is upper S and Kurama is lower S. I just checked the official yyh wiki.
