0:00 Intro.
0:05 The shop removed the 2nd throwout/release bearing and replaced the clutch fork and the clutch now works.
0:23 "Customer declined repairs, but it had a broken radiator support bracket, so the radiator slipped out and was hanging, the condenser ended up getting scraped until it opened up and Freon was leaking everywhere out of it, the radiator hose ended up being in the way of the shift arm on the transmission but it also had body and slight frame damage, all this was because of an accident the customer got in."
0:43 Older GM pickup truck.
0:50 No extra info.
1:02 Another good reason to get a vehicle inspection before purchasing a vehicle.
1:15 This decayed fish was found under the hood during the PDI (pre-delivery inspection) on this brand-new vehicle.
1:21 Drivetrain parts were removed so they can be sold.
1:31 GM (general motors) SUV.
1:42 The mechanic used a floor jack and jack stands and did the tire rotation for the customer.
1:49 "Whoever installed the spark plugs most likely used an impact gun for the ignition coil bolts."
2:02 "1 out of 6 spark plugs were like this. Not sure if the ground electrode was missing from the factory or the customer broke it off."
2:10 The technician said he was about 10-15 feet away when this happened.
2:20 "If you knew the customer you would be like oh I see how that can happen lol."
2:31 Instead of putting the under tray that fell off in the back of the van the customer taped it to the hood of their vehicle.
2:43 The children's car seat was loose/not properly secured. The ball is supposed to tell you if the car seat is at the correct angle, which it looks to be but it's not tight enough so it rolls back and forth causing that noise. Good find on the technician's part!
2:50 No extra info...
2:55 1955 Pro Street Stubby Chevy. The clip was submitted by a viewer.
3:14 Outro. Thanks for watching!

I asked how much rust it had being over 30yrs old and in WI and he said very little, it’s really clean with a new engine. This thing was so rusty the RR Xcab mount was gone, GONE!! He brought it to a muffler shop for new exhaust and the frame cracked in half while on the lift. He had it fixed and when he told me what happened I asked why he bought it with the cab clearly not sitting on the frame properly, not to mention literally every other body panel being toast as well. He didn’t notice, a 3-4” variation in the body lines and he didn’t see it🤦🏼♂️ Told him he needs to punch his buddy in the mouth for that BS deal. Depending on the situation and the place, it can be illegal.
The sunroof open wind noise was funny he should also complain that when the headlights are off at night it’s dark
Happy Easter and thank you very much for the spray foam. I was worried that it was losing it's usefulness.
When I was 19 I did the same thing swapping the clutch on my Z32 300zx. Two throw out bearings. The old one was flat as a penny when Z1 Motorsport figured it out. Russell kept it as a souvenir. I had cut it to pull it but never extracted it. Late nights with lots of alcohol lead to that kind of thing.

That's the best looking yellow car I've ever seen 😎👍 I want TWO one for each foot 😉🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for another entertaining video and gotta love that "Stubby Chevy!"
When the sunroof is open, there's a lot of wind noise. In other news, the engine makes the sound of a running car engine after it's started.
You had me with the open sun roof wind noise. Thanks! 🤣
That last yellow hot rod sounded really good.

Gotta get that Structural Sprayfoam with added Nano Rebar...
The last one! Sunroof wind noise! I had a customer with that exact complaint! It was an older lady who never had a car with a sunroof before, and just couldn't understand why it wasn't as quiet as a car without one.
There seems to be no shortage of these spray foam clips. This really must be common place for mechanics to see.

Probably about as safe as the Harbor Freight $5.99 special supports that were a pipe, split like a banana peel, and welded to a base.

My wife bought a "like new" S-10 blazer from a "trusted" co worker. Among the many things this gem had, the rubber donut in the steering-shaft coupler was disintegrated and the steering was tied together by 2 strips of shop rag. The whole exhaust system hung with barbed wire was another noteworthy item. Solved the catalytic-converter-theft issue ahead of its time.
Customer: Why are my backup lights red? Tech: Those are your brake lights. They're brighter than the reverse lights and that's why it looks red. Customer: I DEMAND TO SPEAK TO THE PRESIDENT OF GENERAL MOTORS!

This website brings sanity to me and I'm sure a lot of people... all the while making us question the direction mankind is going and whether or not the movie Idiocracy becomes a real thing
What's more frightening than the state of some of these vehicles is the statement: "The customer drove away."

I thought the "red" backup camera was going to be the dumbest part of this video. Then you just had to talk about the customer who complained about wind noise. Humanity has had it's fun now it's time for us to just go...

Nothing amazes and frightens me more than what I see on this channel. I’m driving my family next to these cars at highway speeds.
Ah yes spray foam, the most cost effective way of repairing rusted frames. 😂 That wind noise guy isn't alone, whenever I start my car I hear a noise in front of the firewall and it gets louder when I step on the gas. I need to get it checked out huh?

I did masonry for 35 yrs...That white stuff on the ground in the garage is called "Perlite" Its a Loose-Fill Masonry Insulation which is poured into the holes of the blocks and fills the wall. They are the size of a round b b and it would come in a 5 foot plastic bag. It would be a pain to pour it down a block wall on a windy day. We put an addition on the Dunlop plant in Buffalo, NY, I had to go in the factory and vacuum through out the plant

It amazes me seeing so many rusted undercarriage stuff . Not common here in Australia . But the manufacturers should be galvanizing the under car components .
What exactly do some people think spray foam is? I'm dying to know.
A whole lot of WTF
Customer state (my mom): "My muffler is making loud noise." _Does not try trouble shooting symptom_ Me: Put the car in neutral and rev up the engine. _Noise in question is not happening_ _Car_ start rolling, _Noise_ start again. Me: Take a look at rear passenger wheel: Disc brake mud splash shield rusted off and is grinding the wheel. _Remove broken shield_ noise is gone. :D
Milk crate jack stands...I think they finally topped Spray Foam frame repair. This year's Darwin Awards are gonna be a fierce competition.

Not on a vehicle lol. Mostly just used for doing stuff around the house. I filled a couple gaps near our door to the garage to prevent any mice coming in, I also use some wire mesh and it works well.

There is some places where a sort of spray foam is used on vehicles though, for example where the fenders join the frame. This eliminates vibrations and also seals against water ingress in those places.
