Before he even starts rapping, I'm floored that he can even keep all nine suggestions in his head, much less incorporate them all into a freestyle rap and do callbacks throughout. Chris performed over Zoom at my company's Virtual Christmas Party during the COVID lockdown in 2020, and absolutely killed it. The most impressive thing though, is how much general knowledge he has. You RARELY see him need a request from the audience explained.

I was thinking the same thing. Have you listened much to Harry Mack? I’ve never heard anyone like him and I’ve been writing and performing since 1992. He is seriously as next level as next level can be.

@@davidwaller5740 Yeah Harry actually commented on one of my off the top freestyles I posted on IG back in 2017 before he got really popular. Him and Tom MacDonald but I think Tom was like using some bot marketing thing cuz just had a rock on or something like that kind of comment. But yeah Harry is next level. I’m really good for like 2 whole beats but after that I lose the “zone”

@@irh1738 Well stated. Not necessarily a comparison as they are both improvisation. Anyone who can do this understands there are levels to it. Chris Turner has put an incredible amount of time into this and ranks highly in his craft.

This might just be the best one you've ever done. I love it when you weave a common thread throughout the rap. The way you intertwined every suggestion with the topic of ED was magnificent.

He always throws in a ton of rejections, but I was shocked he left out Charlemagne since he's a huge history buff.

What always impresses me is that he does them out of order! It’d be tough enough to think of them in the sequence they were given by the audience, but he just goes and mixes them up, too!! 😂

I couldn't even type out a story containing all those suggestions, yet he can remember and freestyle all of them. Dude is a beast for someone who does is as the end of his act.

Yep, this is probably Chris’s best freestyle ever given the high number of wacky audience suggestions. The beat was super laid back and was mixed appropriately to the vocal mic. This was amazingly well crafted, funny and NASTEEEEEE!

The sheer raw talent is just next level. You're assembling everything in real time, and wow! That was a lot of suggestions, but you absolutely lit the mic on fire there, I think that's the best freestyle I've ever heard.

I have never seen or heard of you before until now. I don't think I have enjoyed a video this much in a long time. I am definitely watching another one.

as a FT hip hop instructor/on label etc i think i could do the freestyles but REMEMBERING them annnd tying them together on the spot is unreal - that said i spent most of my 18yrs in rap focused on more compelx written rhymes but off top this dudes unreal
