Critter Blanket - Free Pattern
Use one stuffed animal and two 20" squares of cuddle fabric and make a child happy. Cuddle fabric is similar to Minkee but with a little less stretch.

Beanie babies would be great to use. Adjust the size of the cuddle fabric to be in proportion to the animal. I'm thinking a 12" square would be great. Thanks for the suggestion!
GREAT TUTORIAL!! Can't wait to make some up for quick Xmas gifts! Thank you for sharing it, Fran

I enjoyed this silly tutorial. I am expecting my third child (boy) and am making most of his crib stuff. I am so excited I found this tutorial because I plan on using a horse to make this little mini blanket. How cute and nice job!!! =)
I make stuffed animals and this is a great idea for my animals! Thanks.
love this idea!
just love it!! Thanks for sharing :)
That’s a great idea!
That is adorable!!!
Ahhhhh, that is so cuddly-cute. I can't help think of a few friends who got into collecting those beanie baby animals--boxes upon boxes that could be recycled into something useful! Thanks again for a great tutorial. Lois

My mother has a lot of them but they would never part from them.
How would you sew just the stuffed animal head in the middle of the blanket like a security blanket for babies?
I am happy you shared this. Icant wait to make one or two. Pray for me with the cutting of the bear. LOL
Just what I need for my sissy!!

Omg I have that same bear!
Very Cute Idea! Just a quick question..when you are doing the top stitch around the blanket, do you go over where you have attached the beanie baby's head and legs or just skip over them and just do the blanket?
That's cute. Wonder if I can do it with a hello kitty.
Am I the only one who feels weird about dismembering a bear?

Thank you for this awesome pattern and video! Do you topstitch on top of the head and bottom as you go around or do you skip over them?

I think a 15" bear might be a little too big for this technique.
Can you still use minky please ? I have a lot of that on hand !
Where do you get that size beanie bear and where is the pattern? What is the actual size of that bear PLEASE. ty
How tall was the teddy bear?
I didn’t see a Free pattern.
U selling it?
Do you have a mouse critter ?
Those Ty Pluffies beanie bears are $70.00 on Amazon. That's pretty spendy for a do it yourself baby blanket.
I’m not sure I could cut the bear in half lol. I would find it traumatic and I’m a lot more than two! 😂😂😂
