What I love about the genius of Peter Kay is, his comedy appeals to all generations. Not many can achieve that.

This entire show really became something of a national phenomenon unlike anything since. Everyone loved it. Everyone was quoting it for years after. I think this was the last ever VHS I bought as well. Brilliant.

This was one of the first DVDs I bought. Class.

I'll always have fond memories of watching this when it came out in 2003 with my parents, all of us crying with laughter. "Video library cases they're not books!" dad run, "put big light on", "Twenny pound goin in Marion, I said ey! Mouth!", 'they don't do peas', etc etc etc

Frank's observational skills are a wonder to behold...!

Frank comes on, I'm on the floor crying 😂😂😂😂

Kinda held it together with Jean being locked in. Completely lost it when Frank came on 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Got this whole show on DVD. Absolutely hillarious. Funniest guy ever. Max and paddy and Phoenix nights are tremendous aswell!

The best thing about peter kay is that he tell's jokes that people can relate to in their day to day life's .

I saw this come up on my feed and I started laughing before I even began watching because I have watched it so many times and just thinking about his re-enactments got me lol

first time I watched this, the Frank impression nearly caused me to have a hernia!

He gets a tonne of flak but I think he’s probably appreciated a lot more in the north due to the anecdotal nature of his jokes. It annoys me when people say it’s easy observational humour when it’s more than that, and it’s not as easy as you’d like to think. He’s got such a quick wit and a talent for riffing on the little quirks he encounters in life. And not to mention he’s great at playing characters. That Peter Kay thing is a great showcase for his abilities and range... it’s quite a shame we live in such hypercritical times where everything gets picked apart and overanalysed. He’s just a guy telling funny stories about his life and some people relate to it... not edgy enough for the edgelords I guess 🤷‍♂️

Nightman - so true - Peter Kay's style is an inbuilt skill. Genius observations. Love when he disrupts a chat show or watching his audience crying with laughter 🤣 ... and his mam's accent 🍀 - Another Londoner who appreciates him.

Peter Kay is a genius and it's not said in the ways of a good thing that you have heard of before. He has got the power to be able to tell you about the thinking of you and has got the same power to be able to explain how we are seeing things

I don't know how any one can say billy connolly isnt funny!! He Is the only comedian that doesnt write anything down before going on stage. Comedians write it all down practise it a thousand times and then go ahead and preform it. NOT BILLY he did it the other way round he has never written a joke down in his life until his latest book which he didnt even find that funny himself because he had wrote it 😪 and that confused him 😂 I have huge respect for any man or woman who can go on stage and make people laugh that much they cant breath by just opening his mouth and randomly firing out jokes they have only just thought of!! What a geezer!!! Anyone on you tube search Billy Connolly incontinence pants and tell me he isnt funny!! 🤷‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Love this but my favourite bit has been cut from this - after he says "HANDS UP MOTHER STICKERS!..." he does someone's reaction to the horrible face like "LOOK AT HIM! LOOK AT HIM!!!" and it absolutely creases me!! So funny. I miss Peter Kay!!
