Peter Kay's comedy is so good, you can't finish laughing properly at one joke before he cracks the next one. And it's done with such affection for people, such humanity; he makes us aware that we're ALL fools, and in the warmth of that realization he unites us.

I had the same situation: I was still under anaesthetic from having my wisdom teeth out when my girlfriend led me like a dog to the receptionist's desk. "That'll be £80",the receptionist said (it was quite a few years ago). I suddenly came to: "£80? He told me £50" (they'd decided to do all four instead of just the one that was hurting). I wrote a cheque for £80. A couple of months later they wrote asking for extra money. My reply contained the phrase, "Leaving aside for a moment the ethics of asking a patient to write a cheque while still under anaesthetic......". I didn't hear any more from them. Oh, and nearly laughed my arse off at Peter describing his experience.

@@ronoccc I guess the love for Peter Kay knows no boundaries. Im an Indian ( the dotted one) who lives in Korea who loves a whole lot of Peter kay. I first heard him on Parkinson. Couldn't make out much of what he said the first time around. Over the years, I've gotten used to him. He is lovely. Love Car share as well.

A very good and clever comedian whose jokes most folk can relate to in everyday life. This guy doesn't have to swear to be funny, he has the skill and talent to be a comedian that all the family can enjoy. Well done Peter, you are up there with Norman Wisdom & Eric & Ernie etc

Liam Mills I wish they’d make _Phoenix Nights_ available to watch online! I looked for it on both Amazon and iTunes and there was zilch except DVDs. I’m sure it would do really well too so I can’t understand why they haven’t! Another series would be great but I doubt we’ll be so lucky.

We had a school Dentist that was always drunk He went to numb a tooth and the needle came out through my cheek I grew up terrified of Dentists My gran went to see him and slugged him Im a Granny now and because of this virus cant travel out of Island to see my granbabes its been a year since ive seen them but get piccys everyday and a vieocall periodically but its not a cuddle Oh well you stay safe watch out for crosseyed Dentists thanks for the giggle 😘🌟

This really cheers me up, I have been to the dentist 3 times in the last three months because my crown has come out, the last time was on Monday when I was only having a beef sandwich at work, it was only put back in on 2 December, I got it fitted back in on Wednesday Morning thank goodness. I hope you are okay Peter, please come back and grace our screens again soon, I really miss you, and try and get back on tour again soon, I was meant to see you in June, I dreamt the other week you were going back on tour again, and I was just planning to leave Surrey for Bury to come and see you.
