Yeah unfortunately, unless I have something fundamentally wrong, shooting paintballs through an air intake and out of the exhaust would mean it would've gone through the engine. Not possible. Plus the paintballs came out of the side of the car, not the left and right where the exhaust tips are.

@@JudasPriestSUCKS yes yes mr know it all we all know there are scripted elements to the show but you are no more informed than us on this particular piece. james has never been a great actor and pulling of thinly veiled expressions of genuine upset or embarrassment are things not even professional actors can achieve convincingly. the sensible approach to this bit would be he probably did build the piece, was proud of it and was upset it was broken

This clip has give me some ideas in what to do for my project at university. I might do a stylised painting of a Tesla Model 3 or Porsche Taycan.
Hammond: were going to paint the inside of the car on the outside Jeremy: red for the blood

I love how the art dealer, at the start, is very dismissive and more just humouring James UNTIL he starts talking about his influences and what sort of angle he was going in, at which point the dealer actually comes around and truly considers this sculpture for a moment. A little tragic it got pushed over.
if clarkson had commentated over himself he would've said *IN THE PLUMS*

Yeah it was actually quite sad when it fell in cos his was the only one other than a little bit of mays that was actually really good and skillful and required talent

@@theshadowfellan5007 well that's the point of top gear. All three of them are pretty damn competent, but for the sake of comedy they decide to muck it all up in the end. Ambitious, but rubbish. I will say that shtick got a little old in the Grand Tour but it's still damn entertaining.

A child could have made this using bits and pieces of something he tore apart. It's not inspired, it was a heap of junk with elements mimicking a face.

@@sailor7537 chances are it was staged so the good painting would have been displayed somewhere else I wonder if the Astra was a indeed a hire car as it would have been 5 years old at the time of filming so would have been a bit old for a hire car

theres something so nostalgic about the sounds of the old v10 f1’s. old school nothing like todays
Watching TG is like watching an action film. You have to disconnect yourself from reality (just a little bit) otherwise it's no fun.

All cars are art. Because an artist had to draw it and then build a sculpture of it
