Oh that’s awesome! So first off you need a way to pick up and drop off, so a truck is very helpful. If you don’t have one you can rent one but that will cut into your costs. Second learn your market. Search up what’s selling in your area and average out the amount they sold for. Every market is different. This will give you a good idea of what you can resell a couch for and estimate your possible profit margins. If you find a couch that seems like a good deal trying searching to see if any similar ones have sold in your area and for how much. Googles Reverse image search is also a great tool to find out what brand and retail value is on couches. Storage is a must so you’ll need the space, but you don’t necessarily need to get a unit right out of the gate if you have a garage or extra room in your home. So take those cost and what not into consideration. Start small and work your way up so look for couches selling under $200-$300 that can be easily fixed or cleaned. I’m working on a more detailed video about the process I use to flipping couches and what I like to look for so if you have any other questions I’d be happy to answer or go into more detail then.
