Good investment! Those trucks do crazy high miles with minimal repairs 😅 Plus another advantage with having a box truck is that you don’t have to unload the couches and keep them locked up like a storage unit. 👍🏻

I actually just use the soap that comes with the bissell spot cleaner. It cleans it out pretty well!

That is actually in the process currently. I am also looking into junk removal.

I just financed a 2012 Chevy Express van. Picked up my first two couches for free. Both are remote control operated recliners. That was free. Then I went and spent 280 at the thrift store on 3 other couches. 2 are a beautiful set but they have skirts. I'm gonna remove the skirts to give them a more modern look. The other is a big brown accent couch that I got for $100.

@@mikhaxl man. I just bought 4 more couches and a big chair and an ottoman. The dude have me an amazing deal on a bedroom set. 4 piece all white and gold dresser set for $150. I spent all day going to thrift stores. And one resell retail store. Made some great connections. I didn't even realize there's 20 thrift stores in a 20 mile radius until today.

@@mikhaxl oh yeah the guy at the thrift store with the most furniture cuts me deals when I buy multiple pieces. Another lady at another thrift actually knows me from before, she gave me a sectional for 5 bucks, she asked for a Tim Hortons gift card so I went and got her one for $20 to stay in her good graces. Another guy with three warehouses just wants to stock my storage unit and store stuff for me to sell for him and I'll pay him as I sell it. The great part about thrift stores is they help you move it and they'll bargain with you.

I just keep looking on Facebook marketplace and OfferUp. They pop up here and there.

So, where do you park/store the box truck? Surely a truck that big isn't permently parked right outside in front of your 🏠🤔 If so, how your neighbors feel about that?:) Also, how many miles do box trucks usually get before they die?

I do have it parked in front of my place. Neighbors have no problems with it. One of my neighbors parks a tow truck next to their house and everyone is fine with it too. It depends on the truck. This specific one the Isuzu NPR are know to go up to 400k-500k miles

I am going to flip couches.... and box trucks.

I was thinking to add it but decided not too. Once I hit 10k I will probably “transfer” the money over as the value of the truck so for now it will be a personal loan. I will probably mention it in my next video! 👍🏼

I am looking into that and it looks like I will be able to. There are a few gig jobs out there for box trucks.

The funny part is I got the same couch for free last week with ottoman and all smelling like dog drool, unfortunately I only sold it for $100, shouldn’t the $10kbpurchased be part of the negative revenue?

Haha the ones with dog drool is the worst 😂. You know it should, but decided not to because it would defeat the purpose of starting from $200 and only using that money to reinvest back into the challenge. I think I might include it once I hit 10k liquidity down that way it will be easier to track. But I’d love to hear what you think maybe I should include it.
