So yes the neighbor deserves everything that comes his way. Don't try to defend someone who is an ass that snivels about their neighbor whose yard isn't mowed and edged. And if he's not happy about how his neighbors yard looks he should have went and did their yard work for them. I used to do my next door neighbors yard work along with trimming their hedges at the same time that i did my own yard and i wouldn't even tell them that i was going to do the yard work for them and i wouldn't let them pay me for doing their yard work either.

My neighbors were away on vacation and their grass was getting overgrown . The weeds were getting to be about 2-3ft tall. I went over and cut their grass for them because it was starting to look obvious that nobody was home . I wanted to make it look at least like somebody was watching the place so that someone looking for an easy break in would maybe think twice . When they got back, the husband called my wife and asked if I had cut their grass . My wife said I had , and he said his wife didn't want me cutting their grass because she felt I was "encroaching on their property" . No , Thanks for cutting our grass, but..... or anything like that . On the other hand, when I am cutting my grass, I will cut my next 3 neighbors yards for them or if they beat me to it, they will cut their yard and mine . We help each other out .

I can't say that man was wrong for being upset, it's tough working at night and trying to sleep during the day when everyone else is up and making noises.

@@maryr7800 yes, phone calls and door bangers were pests. There were not cell phones then and we left it to the answering machine. With the darked out room with sound insulation I slept good. The key was not to switch back on days off, I still would stay awake at night and sleep days.

Wow! That neighbour must have tapped on your shoulder quite hard. You looked like you were getting ready to defend yourself. It was so kind of him to return and apologize to you. I’m trying to get on top of my yard that for 2 summers I couldn’t keep up with because I was struggling with leukemia. I’m in remission now and getting stronger everyday. I actually can mow my yard in one day now, instead of 3. Wish someone like Mark operated around here. May he and the other yard warriors be blessed with good health, happiness, love and prosperity.

@@ellenstone9704 Hi Ellen, Wonderful news that you're in remission! If you were located just south of London I'd write to Ben Saunders from the KZread channel Flawless Cleaning Services. He started doing pressure washing, soon after he was awarding someone in need once a week. That evolved to light landscaping and now he, his dad, some family members and friends are in full swing, primarily helping the elderly in desperate need, doing all kinds of external repairs to the houses, recovering gardens completely taken by brambles and so on. I wish I knew someone from Northern England to give you a hand. Meanwhile, check his channel. It's awfully inspiring and uplifting to behold. ​@@RapIsDeadlyI was unemployed for about 7 months a few years ago, the one thing that helped me through it was doing my yard, I had it perfect. It had never been so tidy.

This yard has signs of the family struggling for a while. Thank you for responding to the message they needed help and getting the needed work done. Liked your little vacuum system. If you had left, after the neighbor got angry, the homeowner would have been doubly-crushed. Instead, you stuck-it-out, working until dark and did something that raised the morale of the whole neighborhood. Help did arrive, there was progress despite troubles. The home looked part of the neighborhood again. Glad the grumpy neighbor apologized.

Dude literally said, "Man I apologize, I didn't know you weren't making money doing this." Umm, It doesn't MATTER if you are making money OR NOT! You're helping a family out whereas that jackass not only reported them to the city but never offered to help the neighbor clean the yard up! 3rd shift or not! What a piece of sh** that guy is! Ugh, makes me so mad... families are struggling to just live. Such hard times for good people. The mortgage companies should walk in their clients shoes. My heart goes out to all those in this situation 💔. I have 30 acres in Virginia, I've allowed numerous families shelter and a beginning. This home is absolutely lovely, tlc needed but heck they all need a face lift. THANK YOU for adding some love to this home, the family will see a blessing, and remember a real lived home

Not have a job? Same situation for awhile. Did give me more time to work on my yard. Work on my house..... doing something useful. Never let my yard or porch get that bad. Why dosen't neighbor help out for a few hours a week? He's off during the day.

And he's the one who reported them to the city...I guess the grass growing kept him awake too? What a great neighbor

I love it…. He made an official complaint about the yard but complains when the yard is finally getting tended to. If someone was getting paid or not, how else was the yard going to get done?? The nerve of people, thankfully he apologized!!

He didn't have a leg to stand on. That is why they have earplugs or noise canceling headphones. You should be commended for what you are doing. Not scolded like you are a child. Keep doing for others its the right thing to do! The world needs more people like you!

You helped out a family in need AND taught a lesson to an angry neighbor who will think about his actions in the future. I'd say that's a very good day's work. God bless.

I've been that guy many times and had to apologize for it. Sometimes, I just go into a conversation expecting confrontation rather than just being respectful and seeing how it goes. Glad he came around.

Box fans aren't usually loud enough to drown out yardwork noise. I use my Echo Dot to play loud fan noises and sleep like a baby, and Echo Dots, cost $50 - $60. Neighbor needs to be more compassionate and probably think a little more resourcefully.

Well, you can’t mow the grass during night when he’s at work. I should think as long as you begin at a reasonable time, say no earlier than 9 a.m. there should be no problem with grass cutting noise in a neighbourhood.

That was very considerate of the neighbor to come with a drink. I've never seen someone cleaning up the yard after dark, that shows how much you care about helping out others. Thank-you for caring for others. You did wonderful cleaning up that yard.

What an epic jerk move.. I used to work 3rd shift, and never did I think to complain about people making noise during regular working hours..

I've worked 3rd shift and always liked the sounds of lawn maintenance. I tend to fall asleep whether it's the mower, leaf blower, etc. However I usually always slept with earplugs or white noise earbuds. The only reason to complain is if direct pounding on the building you're in is jolting you awake.

Glad to see the neighbor reconsider his approach to you. Great job. You've improved the neighborhood and helped someone who really needed it.

It was refreshing to see the neighbor apologize and show appreciation towards you. Especially to witness him showing compassion and regret for his previous behavior. I thought that was a very nice exchange at the end.

He did that to make himself feel better I'd imagine, but yes he was obliged to apologize for his unreasonable bahviour towards Mark. This is the first video I watched of Mark's, his community is blessed to have a kind soul help in other's hour of need. I am from the UK.

This is my 2nd video, yesterday I watched the 'DRUG HOUSE with SQUATTERS gets cleaned out and CLEANED up!!!' video from Midlife Stockman. Seeing someone clean up the neighborhood (in their free time nonetheless) gives me hope. There are people that still care about others, and these people prevent the neighborhood from going down the drain. It's such a positive vibe, and I just started watching these!
