Cooking Fresh Wasabi at The Biggest Wasabi Farm in the UK

Welcome back to School of Wok On Tour, where we're back cooking up fresh wasabi with the Wasabi Company, at their farm in Dorchester. Jeremy learns all about the wasabi plant and cooks up delicious, fresh, flash fried wasabi stems with garlic, ginger and chilli!

Ingredients:
250g wasabi stems
a thumb-size piece of ginger
5 garlic cloves
3 fresh bird’s-eye chillies
1 Tbsp vegetarian stir-fry sauce or oyster sauce
1⁄2 Tbsp light soy sauce
2 Tbsp Fish Sauce
1 tsp sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

very interesting! Does wasabi grow in gravel or pebble stone? How do the plants survive the frost in winter in England? I have heard that wasabi must be kept above 0°C in order not to die. And these tents looks not very frost safe.
