Delicious Seafood & Crispy Noodle Recipe!

Deliciously crispy noodles, topped with fresh prawns and squid cooked in a tangy, spicy sauce. If you're a lover of seafood, you won't want to miss this one!
Ingredients
Fresh / Dried Egg noodles (cooked as per packet instructions)
3 de-shelled and deveined tiger prawns
5 medium sized de-shelled prawns
2 cleaned squids (bite size pieces)
1 heaped tsp corn flour
2 kai lan stalks / broccoli (chopped on the diagonal)
1 thumb sized piece of ginger (finely sliced)
4 spring onions (roughly chopped)
1 tsp chilli bean paste
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
½ tsp Sugar
Dash Sesame oil
150ml Chicken stock
Corn flour paste

    To Not use garlic is a “practice/skill of Restraint” …took me 3-4 decades of cooking to finally learn that. I used to use garlic on everything! It adds unwanted bitterness in certain dishes. Garlic is for n00bs imo.

    @@cyclopsvision6370 Here's a test for you... Cook a batch of yeung chow fried rice... one without garlic (as is traditionally made) and one with garlic (not traditional). You will find the one without garlic tastes exactly like restaurants and is super good. And the one with garlic, the garlic overpowers all the other flavors and tastes like ass. If you don't wanna listen/learn, that is your loss.

    This is just hong kong style noodles, but using the wrong noodle size. You SHOULD be using the thinner noodles, because that is how you get the real crunch of the dish.

    Where I am, you can get the thin noodles pre cooked, just dip it hot boiling water for 1 minute to warm it back up.
