    To be honest, I think hosting a show is beneath Murray. Not that HE thinks so, but I think he's better as sort of a floating intellectual with as few tethers as possible that might curb anything he has to say. I like or simply tolerate Piers Morgan, depending on the day, but more importantly I still sense he's not completely free to say what he feels on many issues.

    Claudine deserved to be fired 3+ years ago after she derailed the career (via suspension) of Roland Fryer, one of the foremost advocates of abolishing DEI and promoting Black excellence. Harvard's own investigation into Dr. Fryer found no basis in fact for the SA allegations against him, but Claudine Gay saw an opportunity to eliminate a rival and someone whose viewpoint is the polar opposite of hers.

    Even if it was about race I’d like to ask Al how the supposed racists would oust her unless she deserved it. They never would’ve hired her… she gets hired anyways…. They would sack her immediately… obviously that didn’t happen… they would definitely fire her with cause for plagiarism and an absolutely shameful performance in front of congress…. that didn’t happen… when she finally resigned she would not be employed at all anymore at Harvard… she is still on the staff… So again I’d love to ask Al or anyone in these comments that might agree with him how the hell did she get ousted if it wasn’t warranted? If you tell us how can we please apply it to Kathleen Kennedy? People on the other side have no ability whatsoever to oust these people or none of the clowns would have jobs

    I used to work for a company with a dedicated group of people for DEI, and I was a member. After attending some meetings when we were discussing ie how certain terms should be used inside the company, I asked if we shouldn’t instead bring up an immensely more important topic: should we accept customers with homophobic policies or with offices in homophobic countries? Well… it depends on the context, it was said. That means, it’s ok if we make money out of it. The DEI ranting within enterprises is just for show, to keep the woke audience happy.

    As a liberal Jew I would hate if a Jew got their job and/or position in school because of our ethnic background, merit is of the upmost importance and I wouldn't trust a Jew above someone else only because we partake in the same rituals and culture, that's stupid, racist and antisemitic (in this case). Merit is very difficult to attribute. Typically those who have benefitted from merit and who occupy the most powerful positions in society have similar socio-economic backgrounds. Those who believe in meritocracy are those who have succeeded in our societal system and want to feel like they deserve what they have, when they ignore the countless factors that contribute to someone becoming a "failure"

    "Mediocrity mafia" says it all. The professors in my school who jumped on this bandwagon are the ones with not an original thought in their heads about the TEXTS of literature, history, or philosophy. They needed an ideology that valorized their lack of talent and gave them something to publish about. The epitome of this was genially presented to me in the 80s by a deconstructionist at a conference who said, "I'm so glad deconstruction came about; otherwise, I would have had nothing to write about." Don't trust your children, or your goats, to these people.

    @Guy-Lewis

    That's the point of tenure: "A tenured post is an indefinite academic appointment that can be terminated only for cause or under extraordinary circumstances, such as financial exigency or program discontinuation. Tenure is a means of defending the principle of academic freedom, which holds that it is beneficial for society in the long run if scholars are free to hold and examine a variety of views." Harvard presidency isn't tenured. So, it's appropriate that she is no longer president. All the same, total career "cancellation" would be a step too far. Courtesy of "weakist" authoritarianism, far too many professors and teachers have been driven out of their livelihoods.

Doesn't ANYONE know that the Arabs were the first slave traders, and they only 'officially' banned it I think in the last 20 years, I stand to be corrected... but boy is it alive and well in the Middle East, and no one is whining about that? Go figure. I'm a white South African proud to have voted for Nelson Mandela's release and he was our last hope, it all went downhill from there! Racism, apartheid...so few with loudest voices have lived it and faught it, bit think they know what it is ,🙄 Until the last day of this world there'll still be racists and whiners while the rest just get on with it eish
