    I like Hitchens, but I think Murray has a much broader range of knowledge, and I like his personality better. Hitchens has a darkness about him, like he may put a pistol in his mouth and pull the trigger. I’m not gay either so I’m not being partial (Murray is openly gay if you didn’t know) I like Murry’s wit and vicious matter of fact, subtle counter when he debates.

So, I hope that he will at least replace Mr Morgan during his absences, Mr Murray get his own format or they both share the role of presenters. Could be renamed to MM's Uncut, or something like that.

    Eric loves the idea of conspiracies and secret knowledge that he can reveal to the world and he's very persuasive. But he's overly cocky and his weird ideas are not accepted by other academics. Alan is behaving both like an innocent person falsely accused, and a guilty person who thinks they can get away with it, but people prefer to believe the latter. He knew Epstein very well, and he has his own connections with the intelligence community and major world leaders. Why shouldnt he have an opinion on if Epstein was an intelligence asset? The people whom Epstein targeted, it doesnt really make sense from a pro-west intelligence agency. It only would make sense for the likes of Russia or Qatar. But surely the US would have figured that out by now? And how would they have had him killed in US custody? It's too far fetched. Dershowitz was targeted because he's the most famous lawyer in America. Epstein loved to associate with a plethora of the rich and powerful. Only a small fraction of them will have joined in his abuses, you cant assume guilt by association.

  • @ramsey6681

    @ramsey6681

    Dershowitz is trying to front it out. For such a high profile lawyer he doesn't appear to be able to remember the details of his own stories. I've seen him change his own account several times in different TV interviews. He began by denying he'd ever been to Little St James. In another interview he switched to admitting he _had_ visited the island but nothing "untoward" had occurred. Then he claimed he'd had a massage from a young woman, but had kept his clothes on. In yet another interview he changed his story again and said that he'd had a massage in his underwear, but his wife was in the next room, "...just on the other side of the door." (???) So in a series of interviews over just a couple of months, Dershowitz went from claiming he'd never even been to the island to admitting he'd been massaged in his underwear on the island. It naturally makes you wonder what actually went on that he _isn't_ owning up to. It seems to me that he was (and still is) attempting to engage in damage limitation. As far as the case of "mistaken identity" is concerned, Dershowitz is a very wealthy man - and given the dubious company he keeps, paying people to keep quiet isn't entirely beyond the realms of possibility, to put it mildly. And in my opinion, Epstein did _not_ commit suicide - simply because people with narcissistic personality disorders very rarely do. Especially when they believe they have enough power and leverage to wriggle out of any situation, and have previously escaped any real punishment for similar charges (being allowed to go to the office every day and returning to prison each evening to go to bed, then eventually being allowed home under "house arrest" and continuing with your business and access to finances, constitutes a prison sentence about as much as Pablo Escobar's voluntary "incarceration").

    Can someone enlighten me as to what was happening with Weinstein's cup/mug/drink switching please?? What was all that about? Is there a code to crack there? Or was that medication or something? Anyone?

    He always seems like a complete buffoon to me. It’s easy to spot a fraud when they spend more time trying to sound smart than actually saying intelligent things. The guy seems to have piggybacked all his success off his brother, who actually is very smart and has real credentials.
