Complete Chronology of Lineal Heavyweight Champions - The Man Who Beat The Man (UPDATED)

Спорт

The lineal championship is considered by many to be the true title to hold. The man who beat the man. Dating all the way back to the first true champion and carried threw to the current reigning lineal champ. This video covers every exchanging of the crown, every time a new Lineal Champion was established, every comeback, knockout, controversy, upset, historic reign, or one hit wonder. Jack Dempsey, Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali, Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, Tyson Fury, and everybody in between. From the earliest filmed boxing events in history, which also happen to be the earliest filmed things in history...to modern day.

Absolutely! The way no one discusses him as an all time great is a disgrace. Larry Holmes didn’t want to fight an aging, debilitated Muhammad Ali, and he certainly didn’t want to hurt him. He wanted the referee to stop the fight so he didn’t have to hit him anymore. It’s a shame people had animosity towards Larry Holmes.

What few videos I have seen of Tommy Burns, he seemed like a pretty decent heavyweight for a smaller guy. Until he met up with Jack Johnson of course. I think it was despicable the way Sonny Liston was treated. He had every right to be heavy weight champion. The precision of “Clay’s” demolition of Liston is a thing of pugilistic beauty as well as his (Ali’s)victory over George Foreman. I love your slo-mo and different angles. A flawless presentation. Tyson Fury is not the lineal champion of the world, after the klitshko fight he retired which meant he relinquished his belt otherwise logically the belt ended with Marciano, Usyk is the current Lineal champion of the world, that's the rules, if you retire you relinquish that title and coming back out of retirement doesn't mean you get it back.
