That is already super embarrassing for the NBA. It's going to look even worse in hindsight. I'm convinced he basically stopped trying the last ten games or so, since he just didn't want any part of it. Then, in the playoffs he just turned it up two or three notches and just ran everyone over.

He sees the game in motion and quicker than the defense can adjust too. He plays the way the nba could be if it wasn’t all one on one isolation. Gets everyone involved and guys are coming off screens and finding people are back door cuts. He makes his team better not just himself

He has a unique skillset for a big man that we've never seen before, which is: Shooting, passing w/ great vision and accuracy, awareness, with a traditional big man low post game. Usually when a big man can shoot, he has no low post game, or at least a good one, and vice-versa. Nikola has both. He's the real deal...

Bird, Jokic, Luka, Zach Randolph, Andre Miller. Are the players that come to mind. When you can see the game better then anybody else. You don’t need major athleticism. The ability to see the future will always have people trying catch up.

Joker is a unique offensive problem because he can pass the ball like no one else, can shoot threes well (He was 38% from 3 last season and *46%* in the playoffs. Think about how ridiculous that is for a second), and, oh yeah, is 6'11, 285, so he can 1v1 anyone in the post whenever he damn well desires. He is literally a perfect offensive player.

@@szobione I mean, height alone won't help you that much as a rebounder. His rebounding technique, the way he boxes people out with strength and his incredible touch to control the bounce and second touch is what makes him so elite. The height is just a force multiplier.

I'm a Celtics fan, but I've been screaming from the rooftops that Jokic is the best player in the league since his first mvp season. The Nuggets winning the finals was a nice validating consolation prize for me since my C's choked again.

Agree. Djokovic is my favorite athlete ever! Amazing human beeing as well. Jokic the master of the basketball and the art of basketball game. Hope he plays for the national team. If he doesnt, pleaae cut him off! Simple as that. I love him, but come on, he has to play for his national team. That is a privilege as many times Djokovic said. I am not Serbian, but I feel this sentiment. Doesnt matter how great he is (Jokic), even if he just seats on the bench of the national team (for whatever reasons) , he needs to go for the Olympics with Serbian tram. Otherwise, forget him. I first learned about Nikola Jokic during the 2020 bubble playoffs. As a lifelong Heat fan I was lowkey rooting for Denver & Miami to meet in the finals since then. Little did I know I would get that exact matchup this past postseason. It didn’t go in our favor unfortunately but I gotta give it up to Nikola and the Nuggets. Nothing but love for them in the West

The Heat were on a crazy, once in a lifetime run, but miracle runs usually end when the team faces an all time elite player. Also I really felt the momentum of Miami dry out when Boston was coming back in that series.

You are talking about a team that was the #1 seed in the East just LAST YEAR and quite literally one 3 point shot away from facing the GS Warriors in the Finals. I love how this man doesn't care about celebrity. How he could care less about individual awards. How he is a team player. How he doesn't spend time on social media. How he wants to live a normal life with his family, his horses and how he loves his country. Everyone calls it unique but I call it normal. I was at game 5 and I throwed my back out celebrating a make with like 5 minutes left. I made myself stand for the last minute and a half though, I had to witness the history they made that night. What a team, I ended up making it to about 50 games last season and it was such a season to remember. Jokic is my favorite player ever

Out of the question! Intelligent, efficient yet very humble and a charming person. I have never seen the same! Just like Ronaldoinho in football! He made me fall in love with basketball!

He's like Olajuwon but with added vision, passing and long range. He's doing pg stuff in the center position, its insane.

I love watching this man play. It's an interesting and pleasant feeling to be confused and bewildered by his genius passes (there's a delay between the pass and me understanding what just happened, haha.

Honestly the REALLY truly scary thing about Joker? He's 28 and his style of play means his injury risk and 'fatigue factor' (meaning his numbers and efficiency stay high throughout the 82 game season) are very VERY low. He could EASILY peak over the next five seasons and play another 12. Which means he hasn't peaked yet... a 2x MVP hasn't hit his prime yet... if you are the other 29 GMs in the NBA this just has to be the stuff of nightmares.
