Oooooo Kim! You are one bad sistah in the LORD!! This study is amazing. I love the correlation between Saul of the OT and Saul of the NT. How God told NT Saul that it is hard to kick against the goads. That's right. We can't fight God's purpose. Saul couldn't stop God's plan. That gives me comfort and boldness to keep moving forward. I must trust that God's will for me cannot be stopped. I want to sit with this and sit with this and sit with this. Thank you Kim! I am grateful for your gifts. You're working Ephesians 4:12! for real!!!!!!!!!

"I want to sit with this and sit with this and sit with this".....I love this because that's exactly how we grow in understanding! You're talking about meditating on truth, which is what the Lord wants us to do. When we SIT with truth, thinking about that truth, praying for understanding of that truth....the Lord WILL deepen our understanding. He is so faithful to do that! I remember studying God's sovereignty years ago and it was LIFE CHANGING. And we need to be reminded again and again of these truths, so this chapter has been such a blessing to me personally. And my heart overflows with gratitude to God for your kind words. Ephesians is one of my favorite books, and to hear you say Ephesians 4:12.....all I can do is say thank you, Jesus. 🙏🏽🙌🏾

Loved this study Kim so glad I found your KZread studies. People should always have an emense study of the Word before ever taking on any roles in the church so many people fall due to lack of knowledge and expect just because of a role or title that they know enough to get them by oh no no no doesn’t work that way. A lot of people are lost due to thinking that just showing up for church on Sundays and for Bible Study on Tuesday or Wednesday will save them but no no no doesn’t work that way. Keep letting the Lord use you Sis

My thoughts on this chapter: 1) God shows us time again why we should cling to Him. No pressure just cling. 2) It's always good to have allies from the other side. 3) These O.T chapters remind me how blessed we truly are to have the Holy Spirit indwelling us instead of coming and going. 4) In my past some women automatically dislike me, but there is never an action I committed against them which would warrant this behavior. Now I wonder if these Saul tendencies was divine intervention for some reason?

Laverne, these chapters truly do deepen our understanding of the immense blessing it is to have the Holy Spirit indwelling us in Christ. That is so HUGE. I marvel that God would bless us in this way. And I do think there is divine intervention in so many situations, which we don't even realize. Imagine one day in glory hearing all the ways God intervened.....what a time of praise it will be!

I use to think that just because I had a gift of Singing that was enough but oh no no no don’t work that way I use to wonder why it seem like I got the spirit today when singing and some days I didn’t feel it although you not gonna feel it every day you have to know he’s always there but on top of that I’ve learned that God works best when your Clinging to him I wasn’t reading every day but just getting by Good God a mighty this is such a testimony that also I learned to much is given much is required but if your not clinging it doesn’t work off of your own works my God my God I say Thank you for these studies because with people not knowing where you are in Christ will try to push or place you into things your not even equipped for just because of a gift so we have to be careful of the organizations we get in as far as church is concerned. Whew felt led to get this out this pandemic has taught me to sit in it and grow in knowledge of God which is more important than any role you can have God Bless you Kim.

Dorothy, I don't even have adequate words.....I know it's ALL GOD that you are seeing those things come across through the teaching. It sounds cliche, but I am truly humbled and thankful to God for using this channel in that way. Honestly, it blows me away. Thank you for posting this first comment filled with such loving words of encouragement. 💕 You have blessed my heart tremendously. And thank you as well for that beautiful prayer!

Hey Kim! I love the Saul/Saul comparison - never thought about the similarities between these two men (although OT Saul may be just a LITTLE bit crazier! LOL). So awesome that it is IMPOSSIBLE to know that God's plan cannot be stopped - it gives me such confidence. Yes, sometimes I do wonder (not worry, necessarily, but wonder...) about God's plan for my life, and get curious as to exactly WHAT He has purposed, because it has become abundantly clear in my life how much higher His ways are than mine, because you know that my life is not exactly what I would have pictured/wanted/considered 10 years ago! BUT - I don't even care, because I have God and the sure knowledge of His love. Yes, He surely is my stronghold!

Hey Danielle! Why did I chuckle out loud when you said, "although OT Saul may be just a LITTLE bit crazier!" Just a tad....lol What you said is so true....so much of life is not what we would have pictured/wanted/considered. But knowing the degree to which your life is *not* what you would have wanted or pictured......and seeing that you're *still* able to say, "I have God and the sure knowledge of HIs love".....that's an amazing praise! The fruit of clinging to God is so evident in your life. I am blessed by your light and your steadfastness. Praise God for the stronghold that He is!
