The Working Room Inside the Claas is the Best , plenty of room to work on stuff , and the Kernal Processors are a Breeze to Roll in & out with a Simple Belt Installation

I had a 5830. I was one out of 3 who didn’t vote to buy it. I ran it, got hot too quick, plugged up radiator, sharping the knives was a pain. Had to take half the knives for corn plus, didn’t like the shear bar adjustment mechanism. Was too loose. Changing the auger bed out with KP was a pain. Then we traded it in on class 850 492 series. I am in heaven now. Really love that machine.

We saved a lot of money on the day that we traded in our New Holland 250 for an 850 942.

I see the fox chopper at 14:39. When you have worked on one of them, then realize you know the people in the video. You are right not to many of those fox choppers around. David enjoys that machine.

Not a farmer but really enjoyed the conversation between father and son. You dad seems like a humble classy person. Treasure the time spent together.

I know one operator run heap of Claas foragers, they did run Claas 900 head but now run Kemper head with better cut n less sharping because Type crops here. Thanks for Father’s insight n history👍
