Quick to wipe your ass with the constitution when it suits you and saddle up to Russian dictators calling the comrade as they attack the US. You're a false flag, traitor. President Putin has never done any of those things... therefore you have zero evidence of such. I challenge you to investigate each accusation in full yourself and present your true findings, not just what you've been fed by hysterical, lying msm. Ukraine as a suspect in the downing of MH17 has veto powers over the evidence presented to the investigation, and they vetoed all Russia's evidence that shows it was in fact Ukrainian military who did it. The UK have presented zero evidence and have 'disappeared' the victims in the Skripal 'poisoning' case - rather convenient, don't you think? The OPCW report shows that there was NO chemical warfare in Douma, Syria, but I bet you didn't know that, because the msm have hidden that from you and now you look like a stupid sheep.

Either you are a Russian troll or just plain ignorant considering what I have stated is what us as a country should do. Did I mention collision!? You did not me, I am simply speaking about the 12 Russians who hacked and tried to sway our election. Putin damn near admitted it during the news conference. Open up your eyes as all of ours are seeing the truth besides the minority of trump supporters. Stop being blind to the truth. VVP's English, as much as I've heard of it, needs a lot of improvement before trying to speak it in interviews. If he did now, every misused or double meaning word would be turned to his (and Russia's) disadvantage. Speaking Russian, in case of any misinterpretation he can always point to the Russian transcript afterwards. I prefer him speak Russian in interviews and I guess so do most of other Russians. He probably realizes that too.

duprattcarol I am afraid partisan politics is on your side. Is Russia marching towards the US, or are American troops creeping up to the Russian borderline ? What would you think if the Russians installed some missiles in Venezuela or Mexico? Or on the Island of Cuba as in 1962 ? Americans were shitting their panties then. There is only mutual security or no security at all. You are living between two oceans, some forest in the North and a wall in the South. Whom are you actually defending against with your boys jumping about along the Russian border in front of St. Petersburg ? I do not doubt Trump has not broken his oath. But when two great Presidents meet they should respect and talk to each other dealing with the interests of both sides. That is called 'foreign policy'.

Lucas Why do you libreals keep name calling people you don't like? I understand why the DNC does it, it's a trick used by Hitler to mind control his people. If you call someone names and you do it enough times people will believe it. It's a very dirty trick and works well especially on stupid people. The thing is once people realize what is happening they will turn on you, kinda like what's happening with the "walk away" movement.

Idk what else to say to this.. I linked you a video from the Fox News youtube channel. That is as an extremely conservative channel. I'm not even going to attempt to figure out why you think I'm trying to mind control you.. As for name calling.. Trump literally made up names for every one of his political rivals.. Putin is an ex KGB agent. He has been trained to be deceptive. Just like CIA agents. Putin has been the sole leader of Russia for more than 8 years and has rigged his elections to win. He also has had political opponents assassinated or otherwise silenced. He is not a nice guy and has no love for the U.S. Is he trying to mind control us? p.s. Lucas of course people use many of Hitler's mind control method including Trump but no one has ever use it as much as the DNC and the media. As for Putin, what he does as a KGB agent is Russian secret so what ever negative claim you have on him is just without proof. It's OK though I understand that you are not that smart and would easily be mind control into hating what the media wants you to hate. After all you did show such negative reaction with your name calling to a man you don't personally know(Putin) and I bets it's because of the media.

Fintan O'Toole wrote this yesterday in The Irish Times: “To grasp what is going on in the world right now, we need to reflect on two things. One is that we are in a phase of trial runs. The other is that what is being trialled is fascism - a word that should be used carefully but not shirked when it is so clearly on the horizon. Forget “post-fascist” - what we are living with is pre-fascism. It is easy to dismiss Donald Trump as an ignoramus, not least because he is. But he has an acute understanding of one thing: test marketing. He created himself in the gossip pages of the New York tabloids, where celebrity is manufactured by planting outrageous stories that you can later confirm or deny depending on how they go down. And he recreated himself in reality TV where the storylines can be adjusted according to the ratings. Put something out there, pull it back, adjust, go again. Fascism doesn’t arise suddenly in an existing democracy. It is not easy to get people to give up their ideas of freedom and civility. You have to do trial runs that, if they are done well, serve two purposes. They get people used to something they may initially recoil from; and they allow you to refine and calibrate. This is what is happening now and we would be fools not to see it. One of the basic tools of fascism is the rigging of elections - we’ve seen that trialled in the election of Trump, in the Brexit referendum and (less successfully) in the French presidential elections. Another is the generation of tribal identities, the division of society into mutually exclusive polarities. Fascism does not need a majority - it typically comes to power with about forty percent support and then uses control and intimidation to consolidate that power. So it doesn’t matter if most people hate you, as long as your forty percent is fanatically committed. That’s been tested out too. And fascism of course needs a propaganda machine so effective that it creates for its followers a universe of “alternative facts” impervious to unwanted realities. Again, the testing for this is very far advanced. But when you’ve done all this, there is a crucial next step, usually the trickiest of all. You have to undermine moral boundaries, inure people to the acceptance of acts of extreme cruelty. Like hounds, people have to be blooded. They have to be given the taste for savagery. Fascism does this by building up the sense of threat from a despised out-group. This allows the members of that group to be dehumanised. Once that has been achieved, you can gradually up the ante, working through the stages from breaking windows to extermination. People have to be given the taste for savagery. Fascism does this by building up the sense of threat from a despised out-group. It is this next step that is being test-marketed now. It is being done in Italy by the far-right leader and minister for the interior Matteo Salvini. How would it go down if we turn away boatloads of refugees? Let’s do a screening of the rough-cut of registering all the Roma and see what buttons the audience will press. And it has been trialled by Trump: let’s see how my fans feel about crying babies in cages. I wonder how it will go down with Rupert Murdoch. To see, as most commentary has done, the deliberate traumatisation of migrant children as a “mistake” by Trump is culpable naivety. It is a trial run - and the trial has been a huge success. Trump’s claim last week that immigrants “infest” the US is a test-marketing of whether his fans are ready for the next step-up in language, which is of course “vermin”. And the generation of images of toddlers being dragged from their parents is a test of whether those words can be turned into sounds and pictures. It was always an experiment - it ended (but only in part) because the results were in. And the results are quite satisfactory. There is good news on two fronts. First, Rupert Murdoch is happy with it - his Fox News mouthpieces outdid themselves in barbaric crassness: making animal noises at the mention of a Down syndrome child, describing crying children as actors. They went the whole swinish hog: even the brown babies are liars. Those sobs of anguish are typical of the manipulative behaviour of the strangers coming to infest us - should we not fear a race whose very infants can be so devious? Second, the hardcore fans loved it: Fifty-eight percent of Republicans are in favour of this brutality. Trump’s overall approval ratings are up to 42.5 per cent. This is greatly encouraging for the pre-fascist agenda. The blooding process has begun within the democratic world. The muscles that the propaganda machines need for defending the indefensible are being toned up. Millions and millions of Europeans and Americans are learning to think the unthinkable. So what if those black people drown in the sea? So what if those brown toddlers are scarred for life? They have already, in their minds, crossed the boundaries of morality. They are, like Macbeth, “yet but young in deed”. But the tests will be refined, the results analysed, the methods perfected, the messages sharpened. And then the deeds can follow." Let us protect our freedom with all our democratic power, and continue to be brave with everything we must face.” ***JUST TO BE CLEAR, I DID NOT WRITE THIS PIECE. A WRITER NAMED FINTAN O'TOOLE WROTE IT IN THE IRISH TIMES (LINK BELOW). THANK YOU! ***

Debra Pate Thanks for your interesting comment, which I believe is one of the most reasonable contributions to this international forum. Yet I am afraid you forgot the social-economic background of fascism. It is not just the strange idea of some idiots but develops from a certain social background. As soon as there is a lack of social balance within a society and a disastrous distribution of wealth the tendency of fascism comes up. In Germany fascism was the immediate consequence of a long economic depression, with misery, unemployment and homelessness. This is exactly the situation that is abused by potential fascists, who take advantage of it. Hitler even managed to overcome extreme social misery and was therefore supported by many people. The true character of his party came up much later, but he real reason for him to get into office was sheer social misery. People supporting him did not trust the 'old guys' any more.

parrisblue well noted! jingoism emanating from american journalists an CNN in particular is stunning!! Phil Mudd is/was a spook so you must take all he says with a pinch of salt as much as you take Putin's word. my question to Mr Mudd is when the Soviet was "fomenting revolution" what was america doing at the same time? Mr mudd should also note that the biggest communist country the world has ever known(china) has been good for the american capitalist bottom line to the detriment of the american worker but hey they're the good communists i suppose? with a forked tongue this same man will tell you how china is a bad actor because keeping tensions high in that region is good for selling military hardware to other Asian countries bingo! Also the soviet union is not Russia. Russia is as capitalist as any country out there. the only problem is that under Putin they have refused to be american stooges. The major difference between both capitalist models is that while Putin controls the capitalists in Russia for the benefit of the Russian state. The capitalists control the American govt for the benefit of themselves, fact! As terrible as Russia might be the fact remains that since the breakup of of the soviet union, Russia under Putin has improved the quality of life of it's citizens and they are better off than that were in the 80s and 90s . America on the other hand has gone in the opposite direction, quality of life and more people steadily pushed into poverty while the rich have gotten richer! yes we can say their democracy is not perfect or flawed but it takes a lot of hubris to accuse them of that when Americas best friends in the middle east and Africa are the most brutal dictatorships in the world, continually armed, financed and given political support( Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, Cameroon Egypt equatorial Guinea to name a few). Every american president worships at the feet of the Saudi monarchs since George bush 1. a country with no iota of democracy not even the pretext of democracy but somehow they're OK cause they are your "allies". the same country where the salafist, wahabist, head chopping ideology that fuelled the 911 bombers but its OK? I don't mind the muppets that are called to give their opinion because we know where they stand before they open their mouths. they are only there to do a hatchet job and peddle the official deep state line. what baffles me though is that the so called journalist Wolff offers no perspective or push back when they tell lies! That let's me know he's in on the scheme. when bush looked into Putin's eyes and saw his soul was good, the democrats went after him. when Obama was caught on the hot mike, promising Medvedev more flexibility when he gets a second term and asking him to convey the message to this same Putin, the republicans jumped on him. now both sides are at trumps neck because all he wants is improved relations with Russia? some people in the American deep state need to keep Russia as an enemy for the enrichment of a few. this is playing with fire though.
