I never cared for Tucker Carlson. However because I consider myself a open-minded American, I decided to listen, not judge. This man is a breath of fresh air. I do applaud you for figuring this out though sooner than later. Better now then never they say. Now since youve reached level 2 the next level is figuring out why people worship Jesus and the spiritual / supernatural world we live in. There really is a God and his name is Jesus. "your views should change when the evidence changes". If more people followed this one simple idea the world would be a much better place. We should try to catch ourselves when we're falling into the sunk cost fallacy. No matter how invested we are in a position, we should be grateful and humble when proven wrong, not offended, and try to never double-down on a position to save our pride. This is how we progress, grow and do better, as individuals and as a community.

In the US, there's certainly truth in that. Not so much in other democracies. But coming from Carlson, a proven liar and disdainful of much of what is needed to ensure a strong democracy (an informed public, for example) that comment doesn't sit very well.

It’s because he’s a real and genuine person. He’s not reading a script anymore and even when he was, he wrote the dang thing. He has always been someone that hasn’t been afraid to think freely. That used to be a core American value. That’s how I was raised. I didn’t care for Tucker in his bow tie era, but Tucker post 2008 has been someone I have followed more and more and now I am a proud member of his own network.

I didn't trust Carlson years ago either, he did lie to us, but now he says it was because he didn't know. Maybe, but I always keep my eyes open, not trusting blindly. The minute someone goes off the rails, I'm done with them. So many have turned merely for money.

No one is always right. False beliefs and bad values are the way of misery and destruction. The reason the West is falling apart is because of liars, in politics media and academia. Everyone knows when they lie, because to lie is to deceive, and to deceive requires a choice, to go against our natural instinct.. Take Transgender's for example. Transgenders exist because of transgenderism. The same way Communists exists because of communism. They literally think they can "evolve" . Have been to Moscow last summer, saw most of the country and it was beautiful. No crime to worry about, new roads everywere, people were very nice, trains were great. food was diverse and very good.

He talked about entering ukraine in a abstract way in bukarest 2017 if it would join NATO and be armed with modern cruise missles. So fpr some it was quite obvious that that ukraine and their masters would escalate and provoke reactions. How can one say that there were no people, there was no country, if Kyiv was the capital of the ancient Russian state, when Moscow did not yet exist. I was surprised to discover it is illegal to insult somebody in Dubai. That's why Adeep tried so hard not to quote Hillary Clinton when he asked Tucker about her calling Tucker Carlson a useful idiot.

I lived 5 years in LA, 7 years in Moscow and now living in Dubai. Moscow is definitely safer, cleaner and prettier than most US cities. Public transport is amazing, food options are plenty, prices reasonable (you don’t need to tip for everything). You don’t see many homeless or crazy ppl on the streets, don’t see drugs being sold and used openly. This is just my experience of living, doesn’t have to do anything with politics.

Also , Russia is a police state. Freedom of speech and expression is risky at best and political opposition is potential a death sentence. I can go on and on but it’s very easy to paint a turd and call it a castle. And one point that really gets me mad is the “Russia wasn’t allowed to join NATO “ narrative. NATO is a defence alliance originally created to keep the Soviet Union from expanding. To be in NATO you have to Apply. The application process is complex and requires the approval of all other NATO members as well as the applicant to meet NATO standards. Russia, then and now, never met the criteria to join NATO. I get where Tucker is coming from and why he believes what he does but he has still got a LOT to discover that will change his mind as long as he remains (as he claims to be) open to other opinions and views.

It was disturbing that the US unilaterally withdrew from arms treaties with Russia. Russia apparently offered the US alternate logistics routes into Afghanistan in the early 2000s -- goodwill that was probably never returned. Even today, the state dept and DoD freely say, "our goal is to weaken Russia." Former chancellor Angela Merkel admitted that Ukraine-Russia Minsk talks were for Ukraine to strengthen militarily (they were not actually negotiating peace with Russia or the donbas). Point is, Putin may be no angel, but the West constantly antagonizes Russia, even when ignoring its possible NATO membership. Why has it been necessary to constantly fight Russia, especially since the Soviet dissolution?

It's not the people around Biden that make the decisions as Tucker implies, it's the unelected, unseen people controlling the US, and all western governments that make the decisions. If you're at all tuned in you'll know who that group is.

I’ve never been more happy with Tucker here. I haven’t always been a fan of him and his views but he is doing an excellent job as journalist

I’m happy to see there’s still a lot of sane people in the US who doesn’t only push narratives to serve their own interests. I understand you’re talking about Russia but this applies to all countries for that matter. I also understand it’s too risky and premature for you to visit China for some productive interview due you the overall sentiment and aggression towards China, but I hope this day will come and talk some sense to Americans. I mean you don’t have to be a fan of Chinese politics, but I believe it’s valuable to open discussions rather than making enemies

So many people were (and are) watching the interview and now hundreds of thousands are discussing it with others. Some like it some not, but it doesn't matter. The extremely high popularity of the interview shows that we needed it regardless of the side taken by everyone.

Month before invading Georgia 2008 - "It's not imaginable! How you could think so!" Two weeks before invading Crimea 2014, answering journalist question - " That is rubbish! How do you dare accuse me of such intention!" Days before starting great war 2022 - "Such judgment is provocation of Russian haters, of course we'll never do such a thing!" Was not aware of some of reasons behind invasion of Ukraine. But going forward, I would ask for transparency in funding and distribution of resources, in a very active diplomacy initiative, and "absolute" accountability of monetary and material resources provided to Ukraine.

Do not Speak disrespectful to this incredibly Intelligent man who gave you time , information! Speak with Respect! To President Vladimir! He gave us so much!

He speaks a lot of sense. In past interviews by other US reporters,, the reporter often come to the interview with their own bias and self justifications rather than to let the interviewee speak freely....😅

Putin is a controller not only of a country but of its press as well. He already has the ability to speak freely on a global scale and has been doing so. If you wanted to hear his propaganda it's been readily available from the start of this conflict. Carlson did seem to try asking some actually interesting and meaningful questions but Putin refused to answer any of them, either giving non-answers or going on off-topic tangents. It's an incredibly funny interview to watch but for particle purposes is a worthless interview as it contains no new information, just repeated Putin repeating the same old propaganda.

I'm so glad I saw this. I have avoided commentary by the media about the Putin interview, but was unsure what to think. My inherent respect for Tucker has now tripled or quadrupled. This is the sort of man America used to support in quantity. Now, honest thoughtful people are being suppressed, and they are necessary.

No matter what people think about Putin the fact that he asked to join NATO shows he’s not what we’ve been told. Exactly, I remember when the integrity of the journalist was their dearest commodity. I saw David Suzuki become compromised when he was to air an interview with Andrew Wakefield that I had much anticipated. When it went to air , all that aired was an hour of static. I knew then something was up. His interviews never held any integrity following that, in my opinion.

As an American who has lived in NYC for years and has been fortunate to reside in Tokyo ....it is a night and day difference - NYC is in dire shape . I urge every American if you can go visit Seoul, Shanghai, Tokyo and witness how clean & safe these cities are

Putin lied a lot in this interview to justify his aggression. How can one say that there were no people, there was no country, if Kyiv was the capital of the ancient Russian state, when Moscow did not yet exist. He even agreed that it was Poland’s fault that Hitler attacked it. Putin cannot be trusted because he does not fulfill his obligations.
