You should get a dehumidifier with an auto pump. Keeping the humidity at 45% will be just as helpful as a few giant fans. I recommend the Midea cube. Barely takes up space and is very effective. The space is so big, you might consider getting two. Don’t know how you can even work out in Florida without a dehumidifier. I have one for my home gym in Los Angeles and it’s a lifesaver. I have one even though I have an oversized mini-split AC system that dehumidifies as well. It will also keep your equipment from rusting.

Look at micro plates to add to your dumbbells. they sell 2.5lbs and 1.25 lbs and then you can keep your current dumbbells but have 2.5lbs increments. It's what I do in my home gym and I love it !

totally agree with you about its not easy to have your own gym but its all about investing the money into whats best for you. i have my own gym too and no IT WASNT EASY AND NOT CHEAP. but yeah having your own gym - happiness, peace of mind, can exercise whenever I want without any interruptions.

nothing beats the feel of that old skool cybex leg press - there's one in muscleworks london if anyone gets over this side of the pond.

[What about adding a Donkey Calf Raise machine to the mix?] Working on 'plasticity' (ROM, etc.) is super smart, necessary. ... By the way (unrelated but still important), for future air travels, you might want to check out the hearings on the Boeing 787 and 777-first. [No fear. Just info.] My investment advice? Not Boeing. And yeah, many of the Old School machines were built really well.

I've been lifting now for like 14 years, and this machine selection is just incredible. It's the best of everything I've used over the years. I cant stand all the corporate gym life fitness garbage. It just straight up sucks.
