Gam Pong Chicken Wings - also known as Lollipop Wings - appeared in Chicago in the 1980s, thanks to ethnic Chinese immigration from Korea, bringing a little of both culinary cultures along with them. Nobody knows for certain WHY they scrunched all the meat to one end of the bone, but you'll find it tough to question it when you're stuffing these addictive little gems into your pie hole.
