Chicago Style Eats - Episode 0118 - Italian Beef Sandwich
As usual, the origin story of the Italian beef sandwich is as murky as the juice it's dipped in, but - fortunately - every bit as tasty. Whether it comes from Al Ferreri's bookie-joint-turned-beef-joint, Scala Packing feeding Italian weddings, or Italian immigrants catering family events from their own kitchens, it's easy to tell which group invented it (hint: it's in the name!) You can find an Italian beef sandwich just about anywhere in the city and suburbs, but the best place to find one is in your face!

Good show Tony and Stephanie! Love the story about discovering the "Chicago Style" Italian Roast Beef Sandwich in Tucson.
If you go to Johnnie's Beef on North Avenue make sure you try their char grilled Italian sausage… The best in the world

You weren't ready at that time for the awesomeness of the Chicago Style Italian Beef. I do believe your first experience came at the exact right time. Besides, you got to experience it in Chicagoland, so it couldn't be better!
Assume the position!
Tony's on Pulaski is so much better.

With a name like "Tony's," it must be good! LOL! Do you have an address for them? We're working on ideas for season 2.
