Born in a burger joint in the north side Wrigleyville neighborhood in the late 1960s, the Akutagawa is a pleasing blend of Japanese and American culinary cultures. Though the establishment has changed hands - and cuisines - a few times since then, the Akutagawa lives on to satisfy cravings today.
