@@ChicagoStyleEats-rz2rc I think because of you two just bantering and interacting with each other as you sampled these condiments - it didn't seem scripted at all, and was more comfortable to watch.

Nice show! I've never had a chance to really visit Chicago and try these foods first hand so it's interesting learning about these items. I've heard of picalilli relish but never seen it or really knew what it is. Btw. Stephanie's face when you're chowing down on the sandwich with giardiniera on it is really funny 😆 Thanks for sharing your knowledge of these condiments!

Thanks for your comment! We love the city of Chicago, and we love the food of Chicago! Our reason for doing this show is to share the food - if only in video form - especially those foods that don’t get the huge spotlight like deep dish pizza and the Chicago Dog get. If, someday, someone like you visits Chicago for the first time and has even a little idea of what Chicago-style food to they want to eat, then we have succeeded! That we have also made you laugh is another measure of success! We certainly don’t want to take ourselves too seriously. Stephanie appreciates your comment and says that her facial expressions in the video crack her up, too! Thank you so much for watching, and we hope you’ll keep coming back for more helpings as we serve them up.

I bought the sport peppers once. After the first use the bottle went straight into the trash. They were as hard as rocks. Marconi is a much better choice. As for the relish, I won't buy such made with HFCS. As for the Hot Pepper Mix, virtually all store bought brands are way too loaded with salt and vinegar. I make my own.
