Agreed. It really is a fun synth for either studio or live use. Very unique (vintage orig or Behrs).

Funny how overlooked this gem actually is no it’s beyond funny it’s hilarious people don’t recognize the bang for buck here very underrated and useful synth From everything from film scoring and multiple genres of music. If you’re even considering getting an Odyssey this is the one to get and you shouldn’t hesitate.

Thanks for making this demo. It's the best one showcasing what the Odyssey can really do. It sounds great in your hands!

Great synth!

I don't know which one I want now... the Odyssey, 2600, or the Poly D... The Odyssey is rugged raw and has efx... I will lose my mind patching with the 2600 and my Model D making frequencies calling 📞 Motherships from other galaxies... but the Poly D is soooooooo smooth its like rolling in Butter 🧈 while getting head from my Wife, While talking with Bernie Worrell....

@@Joedoriamusic the original ppcs were HORRIBLE. Im rebuilding my AXXE from 77. Just put in some force sensing resistors in the place of the old tech. Pitch bend finally works! After 40 some years! Can you bend accurately with the new pitch benders? Say half step, whole step, 4ths and 5ths?

This is an awesome demonstration, thank you for this, may I ask.. are you using an external FX unit? Or are the FX I'm hearing built in the the Odyssey? Thanks again 👍🏼🎹

There's a little external verb via the Meris, but mainly the onboard fx. Where you hear verb with lengthy trail that's Meris (Mercury7 or Polymoon).

In certain moments, yes.

Why did Behringer replace the colored LED sliders with all white LED sliders??? The colored ones were color-coded and look a lot better.

I think you have it backwards...white LEDs were only on the early runs I believe.

I've heard that there's a problem with the HP filter at the higher settings (it won't work at the last 25 %)...did you notice any such problem?

No, didn't recall that (but remember the alt filter switch, could be related and normal op)
