Wow, thank you very much, it is a quirky synth to fully understand, I am still learning and have had it about 3 years. I'll have a look at doing another video.

Thank you, yes helpful in multiple ways. Just got my first synth (the Crave), and am learning the sequencer. Also good to know that they are quite similar, so if/when I take a step up, I will know some of the sequencer controls 👍

Thank you, for me the sequencer isn't that straight forward, had trouble understanding the instructions. I have noticed that the sequencer does look similar to other sequencers on other Behringer gear, so might work the same. :)

@DisciplinedCommotion I couldn't find a tutorial on it that I could see what was going on until I saw your video. Also I like that you left the mistakes in because that's real life and you explained how to get out of it. You put the text up on the screen long enough to read it and you didn't waste time on waffle not relevant to the issue. Also it's not an easy sequencer to use. Behringer should reward you. I subscribed anyway , the least I could do. I love the Odyssey, it's well built and invites one to play just by being in the room.

@@adastra123 Wow, thanks again, yes the B'Odyssey is a great well built machine, sounds great, but the sequencer does take a bit of understanding, I didn't touch the sequencer for about a year because I couldn't fully understand it. I would still buy it without the sequencer and the FX :)

Nice video and good instruvtions but, blimey! obtuse in the extreme - worthy of a Roland synth 😄 Have been tempted by one of these as it seems slightly easier than my 2600 but I use it with a Doepfer Dark Time which is rather easier to use 😊 I guress you get used to it after constant use but I'd never remember all that 😢

Yeah it is a bit long winded, I've only started to use the sequencer properly in the last couple of months for that reason. Never really understood the instructions, but I got it for the Odyssey, so it didn't bother me, would have still bought it without the sequencer. The Moog GM is a lot simpler. :)

Yeah its not that straight forward. When I first got mine I gave up on trying to use it, but a few weeks ago I gave it another go, and managed to get my head around it, so have started to use it.

@@DisciplinedCommotion Yeah I've never known a basic step sequencer to be so badly thought out and implemented. Kudos to you mukka for sticking it out and persisting.

If you think this sequencer is hard to program, have you tried to sequence a Behringer TD3 Bass synth? Horrible! Thanks to this video, I'm looking forward to trying the sequencer on the new Oddy. Thanks for posting.

Can’t watch this rubbish. The guy needs to get himself organised in the first place. Decide what he’s going to say and actually make it mean something.
