Looks good either way. Do what you like. Definitely you need the black turn signals like you have with the black ones.

One of my favorite things about the Tacoma is the ease of making it your own and changing it up every now and then.

Like the sound level or snorkel it is all a matter of what you like. There is nothing wrong with the blue or the black. When you did the shackles blue thought you were going for a monochrome look. But really either will work fine.

I like the black mirror covers. They tie into nicely with your other black accents.

Matte black might look better. I have a Limited with the chrome mirrors. I was looking at these caps on Amazon, but I think I am going with a wrap instead. I need my door handles wrapped as well.

Black looks great, goes with the side step and fender shirts, would keep the door handles blue

I like the black it goes well with black fenders & pro grill . Good contrast

Looks good, you can always change it back. In the eighties, euro cars were all solid colors with matching grills, mirrors, wipers, and, wheels. Then the euro cars that raced specifically BMWs and Golfs started changing their mirrors to black or red. I kind of see the same design going on with your ride. Keep it up, it's your vehicle and it will still look good.

I broke the tab on the passenger side... but its ok I got black ones for my Barcelona Red 17 tacoma luv it

I like the black. Flat black may have been better though. I also want to thank you for showing us how to install them. Hurricane zeta caused a limb to knock the drivers side cover off my tacoma and after watching your video I was able to snap it back on.

I have to admit , most people change the black mirror caps and door handles from black to body colour . The body colour ones are usually a higher end model . However you’re the one that has to like it .

I like the original blue better but black are good too!

like the cover yet I'd prefer the same sheen as the rest of the trim, not glossy.

I like the black. The blue is to in your face for me and could use some toning down. I would try the black door handles. You have nothing to lose since you can change it back.

I like the black mirrors, blue door handles. Look at white 40th anniversary 4Runner-same concept.

Sand the mirror caps and paint them flat black like the fender wells and that will match perfectly so you don't have different black contrast and that will be So Cool! And you will have a truck so unique!

Have you replaced the trim around the fog bezel or the grill. I have the 22 limited model and want to color match all the chrome trim that came on the limited model

I think they are little bit shiny maybe a flat black color to match with the fender I think somebody else shares my opinion overall looks good. 👍

Rob, IMO, I think it looks pretty sweet with black mirrors, kind of a contrast thing that I like get rid of some of that blue!! Rebel has black mirrors and body colored doorhandles as you know and I do like that but I don’t think the rebel would look good with black doorhandles!! Getting back to your taco I think black doorhandles might be good too!! Kind a wait and see how you feel about it!! But I think it helps👍😎!!

They are OEM caps. I’d think any Toyota parts supplier would have them🤔

I think i would like the black covers if theh were matte ro match the fender flares and the matte black window posts, and wheels

I personally like the black.

I think it would look better if it was flat instead of midnight black. Flat black would accent the fender flares and grill better. But that's just me... Maybe a paint mod in the future!

Rob i really like your videos, I have a white 2020 white tacoma, I'm wanting to change my mirrors to black, I'm looking to change bumpers to black as well, (tacoma orca killer whale) But instead of buying black caps what about plasti dipping the mirrors? Or would the paint crack after reinstalling? As it might be cheaper than ordering black replacement ones? Your thoughts?

Given the possibility of flex during reinstall, I’d go with new parts. Of course, you might get lucky if you’re very careful🤔

Nah..... the black is ok but no gloss... make it satin black to match the other trim, running boards, fender trim etc.. Satin black Rob!!

The mirror changed to black blends in with the window. So, I think it looks good. The door handel's would look out of place or awkward. That is my opinion.

Do the handles too and let it grow on you. You can always go back to blue. Personally, I like it either way, but lean towards the black.

Would look better in flat black but the contrast looks good. I say keep em and add the door handles.

Yo! I was hoping for a link to where you got those mirror caps. I’m thinking some white ones would look sweet on my black 2018 access cab. Or maybe red to match the letter inserts on my tailgate. Did you add the black door handles after all? That would be killer, IMO.

Did you get a package deal on the door handles? I have red with the chrome accent and hate it. I’d rather have all red, or black. I priced them through Sparksparts and it was about $360, then $20 for shipping. I’d love to find better pricing. ...help
