Chanel No. 5 EDP is my favorite of the formulations. For me, at least on my skin, fills me with joy, energy, and excitement in the moment of the spray, then it morphs into something cool and fresh but complex, and finally leaves something slightly sweet (not honeyed or sugary) and warm behind. The parfum and the EDT are lovely (especially the parfum) are ever so slightly dirty or rank (indolic maybe?). I never want to smell like poop or something rotten, so if I detect it in the least it makes me fear it may knock others over the head and associate me with dirty and nasty things. I am odd in that I like soapy clean qualities best and for me the EDP delivers this most. I wear the other two also, but do so with more caution. The EDP sits close to my skin because my skin eats all version of Chanel No. 5. The EDT has more projection and lasts longest strangely. Anyway, Chanel No 5 is a chameleon, because it wears differently on different people and is different on me on different days and times.

I had preconceived ideas at 18 when I was given this as a gift. It was the 80s and I got a bottle of edt. I grew to love it so much, like you, I have all the concentrations not including pure parfum but I’ve been wearing it for 31 years. I’m so happy to know someone younger appreciates it the way I do! I hope the never stop making it!

Thank you for this proper celebration of number 5! Thank you for sharing every video you already made about this gorgeous golden liquid! I'm going to tell you how I got my current bottle of number 5. Believe it or not, my hairdresser had a full bottle in her counter to spray the toilet because she hates the scent!!! 😲😯 And I told her that that perfume is one of my favorites. She told me: take it and enjoy it! Now it can't get more understated than that!!! ❤️❤️ I'm almost without it. Going to try to hunt an old batch. Big kiss.

I tried thousand of perfumes. For me Chanel No 5 is the one I adore. Hands down. No I don t believe because of advertisement or so. The "niche-perfumery" of today is not even near to Chanel or Guerlain. Chanel No 5 is a real queen. My biggest love.

I never cared for this version of No. 5 but I may have to revisit the edp.

Seriously, you remember the names of the characters from Dynasty! 😂😂😂 no wonder why I adore you so much!! ❤️❤️ speaking of aldehydes, I really wish the perfumer would tone it down the powdery smell on steroids yikes! 😬 that gave me massive headache. If the perfumer add more bourbon and vanilla as the main concentration, then I think it would balance out the aldehydes a lot better in my personal opinion. I really wonder if Chanel will create the next No 5 flanker but more vanilla version.

I said to myself what does Noir (thinking of what would Dacob say 💭) make me feel. Wearing Noir, I feel wealthy, powerful, and glamorous. I feel like a Hollywood Star wearing it and the funny thing is, I cover Hollywood Stars professionally in my field. Nearly 7 years in covering Red Carpet and I picture myself in a beautiful gown in front the camera 📸 but silly me, I’m the camera! 😂😂😂 It’s my signature scent now and your poetic and prolific stories help me understand fragrances more. Because they all share stories like you say. Especially, Chanel! 🖤🖤🖤

I wonder, why they didn't name L'EAU as EAU DE COLOGNE or bring back EAU DE COLOGNE, it's literally the last missing piece!
