I always wear perfume before I went to bed sometimes I even layers them accordingly, it soothes me in someway & no words could describe what it is but it does makes me feel more comfortable. By the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY DACOB wish your all the best in the future, take care!

Ive just ordered a bottle of the limited L’eau, so exited to try it🥰 But what is the difference from the original L’eau, if any? I used to have Giorgio when i was younger and remember thinking it smelled sooo good!! My current 5 favourites are Gris Dior, Chanel No 5 L’eau, Balle Rouge Mes Bisous, Diptyque L’eau Papier and Byredo Mojave Ghost 🥰 Also Skydive from Gallagher is gorgeous.

Thank you for another thoughtful video! I hope your birthday month was good to you. I wore Chanel No. 5 L’eau today from that precious little oval bottle. It should always come in that bottle. Its light palm sitting soft curves fits the scent better than the regular bottle. I also wore Chanel’s Paris-Venice. I needed some soft support from multiple directions today. Tonight, just for myself, Chanel No. 5 extrait because it gave me a personal lift that I needed. Not a joyous mood lift, but more of an inner elevation of self with boundaries and quiet strength! Ahhhh! Just what I needed.

Don't forget that the liberals of the class that you seem to be frowning upon were also the patrons of the arts and technologies that you enjoy today: theatre, music, art and design, architecture, couture, perfumery, travel, poetry, philosophy etc., and their privilege came with its own responsibilities and restraints. Someone like you, if not born into that class, would have found a place within the more niche fields of their patronage, as opposed to being a manual labourer. Our world would be quite dull if we had inherited the legacy of centuries of left-wing 'utopia', and you wouldn't be sitting there with 18th-century courtier vibes, discussing perfumery. What we call civilisation and culture would not have developed without the 'evils' and sacrifices generated by class systems, exploitation, and colonial aspiration. J'adore was never in my radar because since was in the market is my mother in law perfum, and this one have a such a bad reputation that I never had any curiosity yo smell it, but some one in a store put it in my skin and I love it I really love it and for some reason I smell some coconut and nobody say that. I never stick to seasonal perfumes. I just wear what I want whenever I get the urge. Or when my brain tells me what I feel like wearing. My five current faves are: Chanel number 22 Shalimar Millesime Iris Santa Maria Novella Muschio Oro Lavande by Molinard Dior New Look ❤️🥹

Same for me. I don’t pick a perfume according to a season. I pick a perfume I feel like wearing in any given season and then that perfume becomes that year my seasonal perfume. 💖

Love how you always tell a story about each perfume. My summer perfumes as of now are pour monsieur and fico de amalfi from acqua di parma. And guerlains habit rouge as it is a pretty cold summer so far :/

Dacob congrats on the 10k! 🎉🎉 Now, i know I will love this list of summer perfumes. We are on the same boat - the first half of my year 2024 had been trying and challenging, and I’m also crossing my fingers that the last part of summer would turn it around. My midsummer’s scent is from Serge Lutens, Des Profundis - I only spray this on certain situations, not everyday. I ignore the backstory of the perfume and simply smell it as it is. Its lightness and depth rolled into a floral scent. I appreciate the optimistic side of a chrysanthemum (the British meaning as opposed to the rest / most of Europe)- white ones for well-being, longevity, loyalty and friendship.🤍

Summer is my least favorite season. It is not my friend! I console myself with Frozen films and looking at snowy pics! I think we are relatively rare. Most people say they love spring and summer and get sad in the fall and winter. I am obviously made backwards. Good to hear someone else is not in love with hideous heat and way too loud sun!

I am very surprised Dacob! I was not fortunate enough to sample the EDT. I have sampled the pure Parfum and love it. I owned the EDP a couple of years ago and grew tired of it. I understand your description “mushy” . Your review encourages me. I have a generous sample that I received about a month ago in my cabinet. I will revisit a former love. Side note, thank you for always responding to your viewers. You are so popular and must be so busy so, taking time to comment is refreshing.

1994 masterpiece so well done in 2023 Made in Italy! I was super surprised that the newest formulation it's almost the same wit good old 90s formula! 🎉❤ This gives me permanently so much memories!! I have to say I didn't wear perfume for my wedding day, but if I had a do-over my wedding day scent would be Carnal Flower. I was married on Valentine's Day. When I hired my florist I couldn't order roses because it was too expensive (especially around Valentine's Day) , so I ordered tuberose. Tuberose reminds me of my wedding day.

Thank you for this!!!😍 I've finally managed to get me a decant of Carnal Flower, still haven't tried it (bought it on summer, only now it's winter - i'm gonna follow your rec though and wait for a rainy day...). Up until a year ago I'd never thought I'd fall in love with this unique goddess called Tuberose - actually I'd run from it - but it was after trying another decant from Franck Boclet's Cocaïne (which I bought for it's namesake, I admit) and experienced the day after on my clothes... and there it happened, I was converted! Many hugs, as always, from Brazil ❤

I watched the interview Scentbird did with Frederic Malle and he claims Carnal Flower took 690 tries to get it just right. Wow! I'm not saying a lot of tries equals a good perfume, but the suffering and struggle to get to the final fragrance is enough to appreciate and buy this fragrance. Thank you Dacob for such a wonderful review.

I have to say I didn't wear perfume for my wedding day, but if I had a do-over my wedding day scent would be Carnal Flower. I was married on Valentine's Day. When I hired my florist I couldn't order roses because it was too expensive (especially around Valentine's Day) , so I ordered tuberose. Tuberose reminds me of my wedding day.

Thank you for this!!!😍 I've finally managed to get me a decant of Carnal Flower, still haven't tried it (bought it on summer, only now it's winter - i'm gonna follow your rec though and wait for a rainy day...). Up until a year ago I'd never thought I'd fall in love with this unique goddess called Tuberose - actually I'd run from it - but it was after trying another decant from Franck Boclet's Cocaïne (which I bought for it's namesake, I admit) and experienced the day after on my clothes... and there it happened, I was converted! Many hugs, as always, from Brazil ❤

I just got mine. I agree, would've loved to get a pouch to protect the bottle. Even a black standard pouch would do. I ended up buying one for it.

I watched the interview Scentbird did with Frederic Malle and he claims Carnal Flower took 690 tries to get it just right. Wow! I'm not saying a lot of tries equals a good perfume, but the suffering and struggle to get to the final fragrance is enough to appreciate and buy this fragrance. Thank you Dacob for such a wonderful review.
